Thought I would start a thread for the Anime and such like the stuff they play on Adult swim at night, or we could talk about any of the other crazy shows. I find myself really getting into some of them just for how out there the stories are. Like Bleach, Ghost in a Shell, Cowboy Bebop or whatever it is isn't bad. Some of the crazy pokemon type stuff is decent. Obviously all the standbys are good like Robot Chicken, ATHF, Family Guy, Boondocks, and such are all sweet... Discuss. Oh and it doesn't have to be on Adult Swim to be discussed here, any shows like that.

I like to watch Family guy and Robot Chicken. I could really do without the others.

Family Guy has been awful for a couple of years now. American Dad on the other hand has been improving the last couple of years with only a few duds here and there.

The new Futurama episodes have been great after a slightly shaky re-start. The last one was pure Futurama gold.

Cowboy Bebop is the only anime that I thought was good. Otherwise I have problems with anime.

Hun, did you see the one the other night where his mom makes the industrial strength jack rabbit? All I can say is ouch.

I thought I saw that they rebooted Futurerama but since it was on comedy central I couldn't tell if that meant they are making new episodes or not? If the are then I'll defiantly start watching that again, I got tired of watching the same reruns and just assumed that all of them were reruns now.

Yes, they are all new episodes on Comedy Central. They also released 4 Futurama movies last year, which were later aired chopped up to normal length episodes.

That's awesome, I will have to start watching again. I remember seeing some Futurama a while back and thinking "I don't remember this episode" but just chalked it up to the series going off the air so long ago. Do you know if it's still Matt Groening and all that or did they revamp the production people due to the lower CC budget.

I miss Gary the Rat. I love the delivery boy that always brought him his cheese and thought he was a dog and asked him if he wanted him to walk him.

Independent Film Channel (IFC) has a show called, "Food Party" - it's one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen. This Asian chick lives in this imaginary world where everyday objects can talk and has adventures that are typically "food" related.

Its live-action with puppets and human actors.

The plot-lines (if you can call them that) make no sense and by the time you're done watching an episode... you seriously wonder about your own sanity and your soul.

Used to watch adult swim like crazy, Aqua teen hunger force, robot chicken, sealab 2010, all good things. I used to love dragonball in all it's incarnations but have since moved on. Some of my favorite anime's of all time are Coyboy Beebop, Yakitate!! Ja-pan (hilarious), Soul Eater, and Gurren Lagann. I don't get to watch too much anime anymore though.

All the writers and voice actors are back. They are working on a slightly lower budget, which shows in a slightly less elaborate backgrounds and animation, but is no biggie.

That show is seriously messed up. Nightmarishly messed up.

Nice, I'm glad that they got everything/one back for the most part. I'll be making the dvr timer now.

Venture Bros is pretty good, Check it out is interesting, and I like John C. Reily, I watch it but just can't get overly excited about it.

More fucked up than even Wonder Showzen? Because the two seasons of WS I feel had some of the most hysterically bent stuff on TV (or at least stuff involving puppets!) in the last decade. . .which is precisely why I loved it, heh.
