Cooper is quick as shit and creates separation for himself in a heartbeat....if he gets the NFL route tree he will cause issues for any secondary. He is a great complementary player to a team that has size in other positions. He can stretch the field, not because he can burn up the 40, but because he is football smart and can beat coverage through his knowledge of secondaries and his quickness.
He aint seperating on the NFL level like that. Unless he runs slot receiver and i doubt he is. Odds are against a 6-1 receiver who cant jump. If Cooper was explosive he would be returning kicks also.

Tyler Lockett will prove to be the #1 receiver (plus returner) in this class over time. And I will be saying #calledit , two years from now.
He is a few inches shorter and a higher vertical then Cooper and also is explosive that's why he can return kicks. Won't require a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Do you get why Cooper is higher rated than Lockett?

I would recommend looking at actual game tape instead of combine numbers.

No but the obvious is the obvious. Cooper isnt tall and cant jump for shit. So he needs to be a shifty receiver like a slot guy and he isnt gonna be mistaken for a Welker. He can be a Brown, Becham or Watkins but damn those guys are explosive to where they can double up on kicks and be a pro bowler returner.

Its hard to get separation on the NFL level. If you dont have size you need explosive track speed like TY hilton.

Cooper has one of the lowest verticals in any draft so basically he has no choice put depend on his route running.

Well good thing he's an amazing route runner with great speed and great agility.

Sure.... but the NFL is filled with hundreds of stories like this lol... "They said he was too slow.... too short.... too many off the field issues.... etc" and guys become great NFL players..... there is also plenty of the opposite.... you, me, and even the NFL scouts cannot know exactly how a player will translate to the NFL.... you can observe and have an opinion but no one can say for a fact right now what Cooper will or will not be able to do in the NFL.

You seem to be doling out opinions of yours as if they are facts already....

He is good and every reciever under 6-1 in the NFL needs to be good and more then just good. So what else is Cooper gonna do to scare teams and justify his high draft selection.

You know most of those players are late picks who made it. There are more stories of players getting drafted by school name and #s like Peter Warrick and flop. At 6-1 with no leaping ability odds are against him compared to White. There aren't to many #1 receiver like Cooper in the league.

Forget Bleacher or these articles we all watch football. To be a #1 receiver what does it take? Cooper ability doesnt stack up to none of them for a reason. He isnt a top 10 pick reciever. 6-1 no leaping ability is there a #1 receiver in the league with those dimensions?

Cooper is compared to Marvin Harrison. How'd he end up?

White is compared to DeAndre Hopkins. How's that going?

The professionals would disagree with you as he will go in the top ten.....lol at the no leaping ability....you're acting like he is welded to the ground....how many athletic freaks never make it in the NFL because they can't play the pro game.....Cooper has been running a pro style route tree already....and he may not have the fastest straight line speed, but he is certainly the quickest receiver with freakish ability to cut.

A compliment to say like a 6'4 220lb WR on the other side?
Compliment to receiver who can be a true #1. Every #1 in the league are physical and can go up and get it not just find a way to get open. Corners are getting bigger and bigger every year.

This is obviously a very bad trait to have.

if you're open ... isn't the size of the corner inconsequential?
