Yeah let's get shooters that shoot 40% from 3 consistently and can defend well. They're a dime a dozen. What're you doing GarPax?

Given that this is what the Bulls' salary situation is going to look like for the next 5 seasons with the team as it stands today, what would be the best move (aside from using the amnesty on Boozer as mgt. has said they are going to use the amnesty on anyone).

What's the best move? I say it may be time to part ways with Deng. I love the guy, but his salary has got the Bulls hamstrung along with Boozer. With Lucas and James coming off the books and Asik not commanding too much with an extension, I think they can make a move for a scoring SG to play alongside Rose when he comes back.

The problem I see is Deng's surgery. When he has it is going to determine what the Bulls can do. I say Keep Korver. His offense is much needed on this team. They can waive Brewer and Watson and that will save them $7.5 Million for the both of them. Would that be enough to lure someone to play here? They could also waive Korver and sign him to less money, provided no other team picks him up.

They have to get rid of the 27-29.5 Million that they would owe Deng and Boozer and make a move for someone. Don't know how it ill happen, but this is needed at this point.

Problem with that is, Bulls mgt. has stated they are keeping most of the players they have, so this is all moot.

I agree with all of this, but come on now, you really think the Bulls FO will even come remotely close to pulling something off like this.

No, but it makes the most sense to do though. It's not rebuilding, it's reloading.
