we all knew this was going to happen, get over it and be happy we have 2 STRONG top lines and probably the best defensive pairing in the NHL coupled with strong defenders behind them

Well Q's coaching style is most effective when he has a shut-down 3rd line so losing Steeg and Ladd hurts. i could have dealt with either/or but now im puzzled.

Wasn't the big goal to keep Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, Niemi? We can't offer 5 guys huge contracts and keep everyone who is due a minor raise.
