You can't win with certain "fans."
If Stan stands pat then people will accuse him of being an inept GM.
Stan makes moves, he's a shithead because he gave up too much in draft picks/prospects.

Hey, I'm not knocking the trade and if anything I've been more of a StanBo supporter than most IHN folks. I initially thought it was a tad much but after thinking about it, it makes sense considering that many teams were in the hunt for AV just like the Hawks. For the Yotes, it's who can offer the best deal.

I liked this deal. Kimonen not so much since he makes Rosie look like Teravinen and can backfire harder than my father after burrito night.

Now our core just needs a rectal craniectomy.

Yeah, I think about 2 pages back I admit that I made a mistake, something I doubt 90% of anyone else would be willing to admit.

Thought we moved past this when I admitted it. Fuckin aye.

You did, and I "commended" you for it. I then chastised rex for doing the wrong thing by sharing accurate facts.

I should receive multiple thanks for being completely and utterly inconsistent.

Any chance we can trade Sharp for a 1st rounder?

He's going to **** your wife (or girlfriend) for even suggesting that.

Someone who can actually play center on the Top Two lines besides Toews? Hell Yeah I like this trade.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo been waiting how long for Vermont?! Too bad he's just a rental hopefully they were targeting him in the off-season anyway and this just gets him here faster. Tomorrow is going to be interesting as much as this and more so for timmo

Is Vermette playing tomorrow? If so I am excited to read bandwagon posts about both not scoring hat tricks and how big of a failure the trades were.

I am actually expecting a little adjustment period before either guy hits their best but with that said both are also vets and it shouldn't be that difficult for either of them to walk onto the ice or dressing room and make a good impact right away. I bet Vermette is fucking stoked to get the hell out of Arizona and will probably be so pumped up that he gets on the scoreboard right away. It's going to be fun to see his energy. Timmy I am expecting a bit more time to adapt simply because of the rust. Will be interesting to see his minutes they will probably be pretty low.

Vermette should be third C on the Hawks, and get Shaw the **** out of that position

For the playoffs

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Versteeg-Richards-Kane
Sharp-Vermette-Bickell
Shaw-Kruger-Smith

Keith-Seabrook
Hammer-Timmonen
Oduya-TVR

Crawford

Im good with that but Kanes not going to be there to start the playoffs so you gotta slot TT in there somewhere you crazy ****. I think Richards and Vermette are going to be rotated via Q's whackiness wouldn't shock me if Q even attempts to play Vermette on the right wing sometimes..i know its totally stupid sounding but it's Q we are talking about...he may even play Timmo on the rw ala Brookbank style for all we god damn know.

Reported Timonen was paired with Seabrook in practice today. That will probably last one shift.

hahahaha Q. Tries to split Keith and Seabs up every year just to go back to the pairing every single god damn time. I love Q but the guy is a skipping record evey year. Does the same old shit.

The nice thing is that after Monday's game, the Hawks don't play again until Friday, so plenty of time (3 days) for practice and trying out various D pairings and line combinations. :elephant:
