It’s been like panning for gold. But after a while, the excitement of finding decent valued cards, fades. Since the last photo, I found about a dozen more in the $10-$30 range, and another $60 card.
Resellers love that shit. I cannot get excited about it.

I looked up the Black Lotus you mentioned. While all the decent valued cards I find, I’ll set aside for my boys for when they’re older, if I come across that, I’ll sell the ****** at auction, buy a new truck, and put the other half into crypto. ?

And thanks for the heads up about the corners on older cards. I’ve found a few so far, and had no clue about that.

If you ever find a lotus I would sell it as well. I had one once, and traded it away, but I was more interested in play value versus sale value. Obviously I was mistaken on that looking back.

Beta vs alpha, the only real difference is the Alpha cards were cut at a different bend than the beta cards were. Basically beta going forward all had the same cut, but the alpha cards were cut more on the corners.

The only cards that could be converted (via scissors back in those days) were beta cards because they had the same black border but had corners that were more rounded than the alpha set.

I am sure that I have some of both, and if get to digging around in them ever I will post pictures of the difference.

If you would’ve told me that, prior to me looking up the card, I wouldn’t have thought much of it. But now that I’ve seen it’s a $100k card…OUCH!

This shit is crazy to me. I thought the seller was smoking rock…then I saw how many watchers it has.
