They could always move A-Ram to 1B in 2 years which would help off-set his defense at 3B.

Bill James as him projected at a .285 AVG, .350 OBP, 26 HR, 94 RBI next year which would be huge in the cleanup spot for the Crew next year.

Theyre on crack if they give him 3-4 years....

Not if that means maximizing the current window that is open now. It's Milwaukee. They could begin losing intergral guys faster than big market teams.

MIL also needs to think about rebuilding the farm after blowing their loads to get Greinke and Marcum.

Who would play 1B next year?

does that take into account the long DL stint he normally has??

I though he would want to play for the Marlins he would be closer 2 home wonder why he wants to go to Milwaukee.

He has A-Ram playing like 130 games next year, which is fine with me.

His family still lives in Chicago. He can play in Milwaukee and still be near his family if he went to LAA or MIA then he would be alot farther away. Remember he didnt waive his NTC last year because he wanted to stay by his family.

Plus he wants to win a ring, and the Brewers won 96 games last year and were 2 games away from the W.S.

If the Brewers signed A-Ram, Casey McGehee and Gamel would be the 1B in a platoon. Also heard rumors that the Brewers would be after either Adam Laroche or Carlos Pena and that Gamel would be used as trade-bait.

Ramirez was my favorite Cub from when we traded for him in '03 til about '08 but his durability is just awful now. When he is on the field he produces with the bat.

I bet he only plays 100 games this year.

That should be his best destination.

They have a really short window of opportunity to win. Even with Roy Halladay, the core of that team is going to get old and expensive and I'm not sure how their farm situation is. If they don't win it next season, they probably won't be doing so with that group.
