Don't recall me saying either of them was going to be great in 2021. I thought Jenkins was a good pick before they released Leno and found out Jenkins wasn't even healthy. Sewage the human dreidel was awful and idc what selective statistical bs you post to say otherwise. View attachment 20005

Fields undefeated vs the Lions and the great Dan Cambell btw. New QB, same shit.

Stafford very lucky Tartt dropped the INT and that the refs were paid off in the SB. Sorry but these are well known facts, as is the fact that you aren't really a Lions fan. Im sorry people hurt your feelings on CCS. Maybe sprout a dick and a pair of balls and get over it.
LOL. Nice spin at revisionist history. OMG! Stafford almost threw a pick, the horrors! How many picks did Brady throw in the playoffs when they won the Super Bowl?
Selective stats? LOL okay........ I know what the stats say about Jenkins, Borom, and Fields, and it ain't pretty.

But wait, they will all improve in 2022.

Imagine if Sewel improves........

Try harder.

Yeah there is that bad drop vs the 49ers that he is solely making his opinion on.

When you watch it slow motion, it's more of QB-receiver not being on the same page. The skill position players just werent on the same page with their breaks. Especially from the back side angle.

I'm really really really worried about the left side of the line. Right now it's an unproven 5th round pick at left tackle in Larry Borom. I like the guy, I do. But he has some flaws. The guard looks to be one of the 5th or 6th round picks.

If Poles is able to fix the line without investing much capital, then he would have pulled off a miracle and the Bears will be respectable. I just see that as not likely.
Poles seems to like Borom and Jenkins at T but got a couple of vets (Davenport and Coleman) as insurance and drafted Braxton Jones who has a lot of upside. Not to mention a bunch of UDFAs. Obviously there are a lot of variables at play but Poles addressed OL with a number of viable options.

IMO it's not a bad plan given the Bears aren't expected to compete this year. The thing people are getting hung up on is that we didn't sign a big name there like Fisher. I don't think an aging lineman with serious injury history and bad play last year would answer OL needs any better than what Poles did.

No you never heard that. Sorry. Quit making shit up. Most fans already quit on him by then and he never had anywhere close to 60 receptions. Maybe Hockenson can prove to be worth a top 10 pick now but I doubt it

Lol. making shit up. Adam "Mini Gronk" Sha ha ha ha sheen.

Hock had a fluke injury last year, a broken thumb. hardly what I would call career threatening, or a reason to label him injury prone.

So did you, only you traded it away for another Bust Bears QB.
Yet he was the reason y’all have another top ten pick again. Btw did you know the Lions have had the most top ten picks in history? Damn all that losing and nothing to show for it

I like how the poster who thinks all of the Lions players will improve but the Bears wont, is the same poster accusing Bears fans of thinking all of the Bears players will improve but the Lions wont.

Imagine being so upset with Bears fans that you decide to pretend to be a fan of one teams they own and also a team that hasn't won a playoff game in many of our lifetimes.

For the first time since the late 90s I see this team as the worst in the NFL. Take off you navy and orange glasses for a minute and just look at the talent on this roster. It's fucking pathetic but it won't stop me from watching games until mid season probably
I get the pessimism, but there are brights spots on the roster that should make this upcoming season fun to watch. Some obvious strengths:

1 - Excellent pass rush from top end production to rotational depth (Quinn, Muhammad, Gipson)
2 - Speed and athleticism at LB w/ pro bowl talent in Roquan Smith
3 - Infusion of talent in secondary (Gordon, Brisker, Young, Graham)
4 - Generational talent at QB that just need development
5 - Strong RB room with two proven starters in Montgomery and Herbert
6 - Special teams loaded with aces

Obviously there are a lot of questions to be answered, but the roster is more work in progress than bereft of talent.

Who called him mini gronk

It was right after he was drafted that some people, even in the media, referred to him as that based on the physical attributes. Before anyone saw him actually play.

On top of almost choking away a huge lead to TB and almost throwing the game losing INT to Tartt, didn't Stafford shove some camera lady off a stage and snap her spinal cord to cement his legacy as a garbage human being?

I think all the Bears players will improve this year, they almost have to, they sucked so bad last year. There is literally now where to go but up.

Please go find the posts (by multiple posters) prior to the 2019 (and after 2018) to back up your claims.
