In response to this thread title, I say, hell no the Bulls aren't better without Rose.
There really isn't anyone else that can create there own shot other than him.
That's the major flaw of our team as currently constructed.

No. This team needs Drose and they are better overall with him in the lineup.

However, there are also some things that our team is doing better without Drose.
So for me it's just a matter of balance. Incorporating one positive thing to another in order to make this team better than last year.

Bulls without Rose = 1st round playoff exit, PpppppppppppppPERIOD...........................................................

Look whos back, back again.

You dam right I'm back.
What, did you think I was a quitter?

I'm not bitter, and I'm not bitching about my banning.

There's a line you don't cross and I may have crossed it, so in a way my banning was justified and I accepted and served my time like a man.
A lesson learned is a good thing in my book.

I have no hard feeling toward FirstTimer, HueHeffner or RiceCube.
For those of you who defended me, I do appreciate it, but RiceCube took a stand and did the right thing.
The mods here are very reasonable in comparrison to other forums.
Somtimes they have to intervene before ignorence gets out of hand.
Its just a messageboard and I moved on.
Nothing personal.
Back to basketball related subjects shall we?

Just wanted to say that I watched Game 1 of the Bulls-Sixers game at a bar, and when Rose went down with an injury, everyone in the bar started cheering and saying how this is great because the Bulls are much better without Derrick Rose, and now that Rose is hurt the Bulls will probably win the title.

If that happened (I doubt it) then those are not Bulls fans, those are low life assholes who are only on the bandwagon.

If we get to the Heat, poor Lebron won't know who to guard.

You have once again cemented your position as one of the two or three worst posters on this site.

Great sig Scoot.

Why thank you.

Lets just be clear. I still love this team, still want them to win, I just know better than to think they can actually win a championship in a Superstar league without an actual Superstar.

Assuming team menality is not totally destroyed by the loss of Rose, I see us going forward as us kinda playing like the 08-09 series against the Celtics. We will give it our all, but in the end we will come up short due to a lack of a Superstar.

Also on the plus side, at least we won't be able to blame Rose for missing free throws now.

Last team to win a championship without an Superstar?

Can't even really count the 04 Pistons. Ben Wallace was an All-Star and won Defensive Player of the Year that year.

Last team to even go to the Finals without a Superstar?
I'm at a complete loss.

The ONLY team I can make a case for, even though they still had two All-Stars on their team was the 1977-78 and 78-79 Sonics. There was nothing that really stood out about that team and the league itself kinda sucked overall as the Lakers still need pieces, Bill Walton started his great injury history and the Eastern Conference was in total suckage.
