I think the Hawks should just play better than the other team. Please god, play better than the fucking Oilers or I'll lose it.

Hawks lose, team plays with apathy. Q is more fire and brimstone, dicks with the lines more and has Turco center the 2nd line.

Uptown baby!
Yeah, well Quenneville also had Kopecky centering the second line in practice so I wouldn't get too excited.

This.

Q is such a fucking intentionally and willfully dense roster doofus I could slap him upside his head. WTF? Kopecky is fucking BRUTAL at C. Use some goddamn common sense and just plant Sharp's ass at C and leave it there. Kopecky makes the C situation worse.

Can breath a little knowing that they beat a team they are supposed to beat. Want to see better powerplay efforts still but right now the 2 points is all that matters. Sucks we didn't get any help from around the league tonight.

Great game Crawford.

First period, good. Second period, not bad. Third period, again, the Hawks took their foot off the gas. I kept thinking to myself, here we go again... I thought Edmonton took it to them in the third, and Crawford was the difference. Mustering four shots in the third period, when they had two PPs? Typical of this season and pretty dreadful. Hawks gave up a lot of good scoring chances, but Crawford was great.

Kane summed up my thoughts on the PP in his postgame interview. Embarrassing. I like that he didn't seem happy at all with the victory. Very business like. It is two points, move on, and play better next game. An effort like that in the third period, against a better team, and we likely don't win this game.

We beat the Oilers, as we should.

Yeah color me unimpressed. We beat a bottom feeder, bravo, now beat someone that is decent and maybe I'll give a damn.

Did anyone else think Seabs (during his intermission interview) looked like Bud Bundy?

Especially the hair.

Blackhawks dominated play most of the night. Dubnyk's good goal tending prevented a blowout win. I'll take the win.

3 wins/6 points seperates 11th from 3rd place in the conference. The sky isn't falling yet. There is alot of hockey left to play.

I'm not suggesting the sky is falling but we beat up edmonton, *golf clap*

That isn't hard, there are some AHL teams that'd probably give them a run.

A much needed win. Now on to Dallas and the Coyotes. The game against the Yotes on Saturday will be the Hawks 3rd in 4 days. I'd be happy with 2 points from the weekend.

In Nashville. Any team can beat any team on any given night. The Hawks had already lost TWICE to these guys this year.

Edmonton is like the Hawks were about 4 years ago. Tons of young talent. If they build right there that team will be a force in the next 2-3 years. Eberly, Gagner, Hall, Pivarti, Dubnyk.....
