Looks like the 1st game Im willing to spend the 60 bucks for. Though I had to lol at 'hunting' wild animals. Im thinking RDR now. I just hope its jam packed with various things to do, but as things have progressed drastically, Im more curious to the combat system and ability to climb buildings. I would think we can still climb. Weapons will be interesting. Im assuming the Hidden Blades, Bow n Arrow, Tomahawk, and now a rifle perhaps? So any predicted release date??

This series is turning more and more into an action RPG. I'm ecstatic about the hunting part. You're a Native American, that's what they did. It's all about immersion, and this is an awesome way to do it. It's going to be sweet to take a break and go hunting.
We'll definitely still be able to climb buildings but will also be able to climb trees. Think of the big ambush scene in the woods in the movie The Last of the Mohicans were the Natives ambushed people on a path from the trees.
I doubt rifle. Didn't those take forever to reload? But there will be a pistol apparently, similar to the hidden pistol in the past titles. But you can now dual wield melee weapons. Dagger + Tomahawk or whatever else they give us. :elephant:

Well yeah it'll be great to go off hunting, but I still lol at the RDR similarities. Im also excited as that alone will greatly extend the life of the game for me. Rifles or should I say Muskets were reloaded in under a minutes time by skill gunmen. Though that doesnt mean it would be used by us, but as each game brings us closer to modern day, guns will eventually be introduced. Either way, October 31st is one hell of a long time from now.

Tomahawk - Nearly every image of Connor has him carrying a tomahawk with the iconic Assassin's Creed crest carved into the blade itself.
Hidden Blade - Game Informer's article confirmed the presence of the Hidden Blade being plunged deep into the neck of a bear (Source: Page 44 in the printed article). The Hidden Blade is now detatchable and can be used as a small knife.
Bow and Arrow - Connor is seen wielding a bow and arrow, which will presumably come in handy during the in-game hunting shown in some of the images.
Pistol- the latest trailer that showcased Connor's weapons also said that he will have ability to dual wield pistols.
Musket - Both British and Colonial soldiers arm themselves with muskets in a variety of the screen-shots released so far.
Rope Dart - This grappling hook-like implement can harpoon and drag enemies into treetops.

The trailer is so great and the gameplay looks incredibly fun. Looks like climbing trees will be a big thing in ACIII
