Been a fan since they wedged a gridiron into Wrigley. I remember the Kansas Comet , Papa Bear and on the other end of the fan spectrum Abe Gibron, Bobby Douglass etc…IMO if it gets bad it becomes “Fun Bad”! I can’t stop watching but I seem to complain more and more about the Ivy Leaguers in Lake Forest and their perpetration of mediocrity.

I'm not necessarily concerned about them being cheap just that they are incompetent and not smart enough to put a value on things

Especially once I saw the laughable $15 an hour Olin Kreutz salary offer and this tweet about how small and understaffed they are too apparently:

Even if they don't believe in analytics at all they should at least have a department for it just to get an idea of what other teams are doing with it.

That's why I'm concerned if they do want Harbaugh or Payton they might severally undervalue what a guy like that could bring the the entire organization and insult him with an offer they actually think is good

All things equal? That never happens so the statement is wrong. If he goes to any other team except the Bears it will mostly be because of money. Harbaugh knows Justine is 100% a better quarterback than he ever was on his best day.
