At what point does Rose overtake Pippen?

Is D-Rose the #2 player in the Chicago Bulls Franchise?

Stop being dumb. Nobody said Pippen wasn't a good scorer.

PS- Are you finally ready to admit LeBron >>>>> Pippen?

Pippen is not close to being a top 50 player offensively.

Defensively, Pippen is the best perimeter defender of all-time. Jordan is the reason for that.

Jordan the reason he got drafted Jordan the reason he could score Jordan is the reason he played good Def, wow it's amazing. Damn Pippen should have just retired when mike did he had no game of his own.

Actually Phil Jackson pushed him harder than Jordan.

maybe so, but jordan pushed him plenty

And please, can you people please stop with that "pippen wasn't a good scorer" crap.
He was second leading scorer with the Bulls behind Jordan, the best scorer in the league...I'm suprised anyone else could score the way Jordan hogged the ball.
without jordan, pippen averaged in the low 20s,not much more than with jordan....22 PPG was his highest total

even as the focal point of the team, he wasn't a really great offensive player

we never said he wasn't a "good scorer"

When Jordan wasn't there, Pippen was leading scorer with 23 points a game, and every other stat full.
it was 22, and he had full stats with jordan too

Even when Jordan was there ,Pippen rarely had games where he scored far below 20 points.
omg impressive

Even in the final game against the Lakers in 91, Pippen was the leading scorer with 33 to Jordans 31......
in the final game vs. the thunder, mike miller had 23 to wade's 20

Keep Pippen hating everyone, with your underestimations........

YOU BRO YOU SHOULD TRY THIS HATERADE

Just like every comment you make about Pippen is because of Jordan.

it's hard to respect your argument when you regurgitate ours and make it seem as if we are looking at it like an absolute

Everything you guys say is Pippen did X because of Jordan. That's just dumb they feed off each other. They both made each other better..

sure...but wouldn't you say jordan was already the best player in the league when pippen came, or close to it?

we're not saying everything that pippen did or his total ability was because of jordan...we're saying jordan's mentality left an imprint on pippen and was a factor in his development

a factor=/=totally dependent

I agree with that whole statement 100%. Jordan was close to being the best player when PIP came in.

Maybe when Rose retires it will be debatable, hopefully that's not soon with all these injuries.

Thanks for finally admitting that Pippen was actually a real human being and basketball player and isn't a piece of garbage that Jordan controled like an Atari joystick.
That must of been hard for you :troll:

Code has constantly called Pippen one of his favorite players and the best perimeter defender ever. You are just riding Pippen as usual.

Pippen wouldn't have been the same player without the influence of Jordan. He would have been a stud but not the same fundamentals.

How come every summer every thread on C.C.S becomes a thread to undermind Pippens Greatness?

Isn't there other former Bulls players that can be the official punching bag of this forum

It isn't undermining Pippen's greatness to state that you are full of shit when you say things like Olajuwon robbed Pippen of the MVP/DPOY trophy in 1994. It is you riding Pippen extra hard because you are in love with the man.

:notfunny:
Excuse me, but is this sarcasm or personal attack?
I'm in love with Pippen?????????? :rolling:
Is that supposed to be funny?

I'm not ***, therefore I cannot be in love with another man.
Are you calling me ***?

That's out of line, don't do it again young man.
