At what point does Rose overtake Pippen?

Is D-Rose the #2 player in the Chicago Bulls Franchise?

He'd kill Lebron in a foot race. I guess we just disagree. Scottie is the only person I've seen in my lifetime that could defend any position on the court for at least a few possessions. And Scottie with the ball could move tons better than Lebron in my eyes.

had to bump for this:lmao:

So, now Pippen wasn't as important as Jordan in those 6 rings?

Funny that Jordan never won another playoff game without Pippen, let alone another championship.

If healthy, I think he still needs a few years.

Is Derrick Rose the 2nd greatest player in franchise history, already? Or does he need to add a few more years to his resume?

Scottie helped win 6 titles, but he was the 2nd man. Rose, as the main man, led the Bulls to the best record in the league and has won an MVP - something Scottie didn't do.

Is Rose the 2nd best Bull of all-time? If not, what would it take. Does he need to win a title?

I was thinking about it and wanted to throw it out there.

Rose won't pass up Pippen until he has a few of these:

And with the Heat not going anywhere soon and an ACL injury, it could take some time....a long time....if at all.

Pippens place as second best Bull of all time isn't in any threat of being knocked down to number 3 for now.

so if rose were to average around 23 and 7 for the next 5-6 years, win one or two more MVPs, but not get a ring or multiple rings...

he wouldn't pass pippen?

Of course he would, and the ring argument is a bit asinine....especially when those rings were Jordan's rings.

Let me explain it to you so that you understand what I am talking about. I know you are delusional when it comes to all things Pippen....

Pippen was a sidekick. He was NEVER the man. That is why I say those were Jordan's rings. Using that reasoning to say Rose won't be any better than Pippen is like saying Barkley or Malone were not better than Rodman.

The MVP alone justifies and argument of Rose's potential greatness.

Rose could be unlucky and not win because of Lebron James, just like Malone, Barkley and others didn't win because of Michael Jordan. Notice I didn't say Jordan and Pippen...I said Jordan. Because people remember and recognize who the man is on a basketball championship team.

Sorry that hurts your feelings....but ye shall hear the truth, and the truth shall set you free...

Then again, the delusional are usually offended by reality. Just saying...

that's my point

So they weren't Phil Jacksons, Scottie Pippen's, B.J Armstrongs, Horace Grants, Dennis Rodmans, Tony Kucocs, John Paxsons, Bill Cartwrights, Will Perdues, etc etc etc.....'s rings too?

So I suppose that the champion ship rings this year only belong to Lebron also.

Bosh and Wade had nothing to do with it.

I see your point.
