I didn't feel it was an intentional elbow. Seemed that Stastny was almost jockeying for position with Shaw and almost protecting himself at the same time. Elbow wasn't high, Shaw was low (if I can remember correctly). To me, it just seemed like an unfortunate elbow. Could go either way I suppose, but I personally don't think it warrants a suspension.

Dews wasn't posting when it happened -- my guess is he was just away from his computer. I don't think he loathes Carcillo, just had higher expectations for him than he's produced to this point...and he's got a point. :shrug:

The Avs played their asses off but still came up short. The grit of this team to not want to lose in regulation is just amazing. I knew Colorado would be a tough game and the game on Friday might be even tougher (I expect the Avs to play even better after the result of this game), that said, the Hawks came away with the W thanks for Carcillo. I'm just going to continue to enjoy this, but I know EVERY game regardless of how "bad" you think the team is will come at this team with everything they have. Columbus did it last week twice, and now Colorado today and probably Friday. At times, the Hawks did play lackadaisical, they can't take any opponent lightly.

And you missed my point, my friend. I don't expect people to be on CCS for every game, and hell I'm not a fan of Carcillo, even with what he did tonight. I was just taunting a pathetic mod who doesn't contribute much but inserts himself into discussions with pathetic retorts. He hardly ever contributes to a dialogue and whenever he disagrees with someone, instead of debating his opinion intellectually, he just mocks them with zzzzzz's. He belittles knowledgeable people with actual opinions. They don't stand up to him, but I will.
Its great the Hawks are doing so well this year, hence more participants in the Blackhawks section, but dewey is a MAJOR reason the Sox board is a graveyard (yes, its the offseason, but I'm talking about last year and this upcoming year as well).
The fact that anyone recognizes the zzzzzzzzz factor is pathetic, because that weak retort is from a mod. And finally, the fact that down syndrome JoeCawks defends him is proof enough.
