Those are already out there if you can afford the monthly fee.

I just bought the tiniest pair of jeans I have ever seen. And a jean jacket for my friend who is having a boy in the fall. The jeans are only like 9 inches long.

I don't know if this has been mentioned about the breast pumps, but make sure you get a double pump. Otherwise it will take 30 minutes to get the job done where a double gets done in 15 minutes. It's worth the extra price.

We did a single car seat with an extra base. Made it way easier. Also, the same car seat has a stroller where the car seat clicks into. I think ours is the Chico Keyfit. It's been good. The stroller is a little bulky so we do have a smaller one as well.

Exersaucer or something similar has been great for both our kids. We got the 3 stage one where you can break it down and make it so they can stand and hold onto after they out grow sitting in the middle of it.

For your wife, make sure she gets a good quality diaper bag as there's a lot of cheap ones and the zippers or material break easily. My wife actually got one at the Coach outlet that's held up awesome over 4 years.

I'd go with a wireless monitor so you have the option of taking it with you outside if you need to do yardwork or anything else outside.

Boppy pillow and boppy lounger.

Bottle warmer. We used the steam version and it works well and it's pretty quick.

Multiple size clothing and onesies. Otherwise your run out of newborn clothes or you don't have any 6-9 month or 6-12 month clothes.

I would also throw a few kids books in there as well.

Things I wouldn't register for:

Wipes warmer.

Glass bottles. Many people register for glass bottles because of BPA, but most plastic bottles are now BPA free. Another reason for not using glass is if your kid will be in daycare they'll unlikely take glass bottles as they're a safety hazard.

I know there's other stuff that I can't think of right now.

Well this is all great info, I'm trying to put it all together as a running log. So much to learn.

And Ymo, while you're correct, the best I can do for you is a discount.

Hey, I shop at Target, Mr Neiman Marcus. Some of us weren't born with diamond encrusted pacifiers.

Well, there or Macy's.

Yep, I have so much $ I just can't spent it fast enough. It gets hard to manage.

Looks cool, but I don't do vests... just something about them, I don't think I could pull that off in public.

I'll look at the Motorola's then, would love any other opinions as well.

In looking at them I see that the main ones only different for the price is screen size, do I really need a 3.5 over a 2.8? Does size matter? HIYO... I'd be inclined to go with the smaller one but was wondering if people wished they had a bigger screen on theirs? Also, they say you can get an extra camera? Is that worth it. they seems kind of lazy/too much for like $99.

we just have a cheap audio-only setup. $30, done. Turn the volume up, if the kid starts screaming there is no way you will sleep thru it.

My wife could hear our kids fart 4 rooms away, 2 floors down where as I could sleep through a hurricane of baby wailing. Never needed a monitor, even though we had one, wife's elbow always seemed to do a good job of waking me up when there was a problem.

For some reason I like the idea of the heat sensing modes on the video ones, I know it's a little much and makes me lazy, but I don't know why I like the idea of knowing when she'll be running hot.

Also TSD... not really a Junior as it's a girl but yes, a little one is coming, the Mayans were right, and she's already more socially accepted in this world than you.. so there. hah.

So I'll probably go with Motorola unless anyone has any other suggestions?
