Slightly disagree here. No matter where I've taught, some of these dudes graduating and going off in the world wouldn't know a monkey wrench from a monkey's ass. At least with doing this online (though there are probably better places to look than here) it saves the person some real embarrassment because of the anonymity.

My posts have mainly been a shot at brett for not only putting people on ignore but feeling the need to announce it....nothing more gutless than feeling the need to use the ignore feature when God gives you the free will to ignore the person without the use of a messageboard feature.

Don't you garden? How are you not going to have a shovel? I've used my shovel way more then I ever would have thought since I bought a house. Just saying, it's a very underrated tool!
