Also, Dan Pompei did a couple of "Scout Talks" on National Football Post. 1 about Guards, and 1 about Centers:
Guards http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Scout-Talk-Top-Guard-Prospects.html
Centers http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFP-Scout-Talk-2013-Centers.html

Says strong guard class, weak center class.
Scouts say if you judged the centers strictly on talent, production and potential and kept need out of the equation, there might not be a center taken in the first three rounds.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't account for underclassmen, however, because they haven't officially declared yet. Good information nonetheless.

all Mocks updated. DraftTek and Football's Future are currently having some website issues.

Will update you all when I notice a change in any draft.

You guys know of any that should be added?

I noticed that. I was trying to check up on them and I thought it was my work computer having problems.

Yeah, I know once underclassmen declare it'll shake things up a bit. For one, I can get the player bio's from draft countdown on them. haha. The ones that aren't linked in the OP are underclassmen who haven't declared, I believe.

Todd McShay's mock added...Insider req'd. Sorry fellas.

As Wakacha said, McShay has the Bears taking DT Sheldon Richardson w/ the first pick. If Melton walks, it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. He also has the Packers taking J. Cooper (OG, UNC) 4 spots after us, then says "He's a top-15 talent and is good value at this point".....derp...then why would the Bears opt to take a DT over him? ha

Quick question for those that read this....Instead of using Draft Countdown's player bios (which are exceptional, but typically aren't completed until MUCH closer to the draft), would you rather see the ESPN player bios? They're a little more confusing, but the links don't change and underclassmen are already included.

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/29247

there's an example of the ESPN one.

http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingReports/DT/Star-Lotulelei.php

and there's (an incomplete) draft countdown one.

Also, BM1, I'd LOVE for Jones to fall to us. Just don't see it happening. Man, I hope he does, tho.

NFLDraftScout is a pretty good one. Here's Jonathan Cooper's Page:
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=82303&draftyear=2013&genpos=OG It has updated news from the year and some videos right on there.

Even CBS Sports' page isnt too bad. Jonathan Cooper again to compare:http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1695617

What are your guys thoughts on Alec Ogletree MLB from Georgia? He reminds me a little bit of Urlacher coming out of college as Alec is a converted safety who can really fly around the field but has problems disengaging from blockers.

I would really only be a fan of a MLB with our 1st round pick if we can nab a decent o-lineman during free agency though...

I think Ogletree will project more as an OLB, but he's solid. Most people seem to rank him inside the top 25 overall.

That's fair X-Factor, but I think he would project just fine to being a MLB as long as he adds a little more weight to his frame. I think by the time his 2nd season rolls around he would have additional size and strength and could really be positioned well to excel at ILB.

I can see that. I guess I was thinking about our current defensive scheme...in a 4-3, I think he projects as an OLB...but in a 3-4, I can definitely see him as an ILB.

Yes very true. That is why it is so tough to come up with mock drafts at this point as we have no idea what we will do in free agency and/or who will be our coach and what the schemes will be...
