This guy might if good enough put the 2020 draft picks on the Practice squad if anything. He would also be there just to give the Bears another guy to learn the scheme if he gets cut and then the line gets riddled with injuries. Pretty sure there are better guys to take off the street. But could be worse.

Apparently Pace and Nagy have totally changed from years prior. I like it. Now if that mfer would just give up playcalling and be the HC

I think this is Pace implementing the fact that there really isn't a backup center and that veteran depth is needed.

It would have been nice to see what Cervenka could've done, but I see this as a value pick signing.

There's little to no value in this signing

Excellent - last year we had 15 TE in camp, this year we'll have 20 C/G.

Pace is a fucking sly fox

Pace has rebuilt the offensive line.
That remains to be seen

He does have plenty of guards and right tackles with 1 center (now 2) and 0 LT who have started a NFL game......seems like he's hoping for alot of guys to work out perfectly

I'm not going to get too worked up about the potential of a UDFA/late rounder. It's good they're looking for those hidden players because not everyone can be a super star but the realistic potential is they'll be a backup and not a super star.

Hes definitely has thrown a lot of shit against the wall. Maybe some of it sticks.
Yeah, that seems to basically be it, but you have 90 slots, may as well use them like this when you have some questionable positions.

With the state of the O line I'm a fan of that strategy. (The rookies are still unknowns at this point, hope for the best but no drafted player is guarenteed)
