2nd pick in the draft could net you 3 first round picks one for next season two this season. But with Seattle having geno Smith and lions trying to build around goff(he has gone to the superbowl) or do they give away a lot to get their future QB....
Having a QB on a rookie scale deal is real attractive to teams. Might be hard to pass that up if you are Detroit or Seattle.

its the bears.. theyll end up with pick 7-8 since this is a 1-2 QB draft. No haul, dont pass go, go directly to the sus injured guy right after the guy thats a generational talent.

Still 4 other 3 win teams and they all have the SOS tie breaker. Long ways to go to get second pick. Jags and Browns winning was big.

I’m so happy that you can’t shit all over my hopes for today!

That was a good loss (if there is such a thing) after a Carolina Panthers win.

Go Bears!!!

Absolutely! Having the second pick could be huge for the franchise. Trade down return will be much higher with a potential franchise QB on the board.

I have heard of Super Bowl hangovers, but imagine going from Super Bowl Champs to the cellar of the conference that quick.

It's almost as if trading away a dozen first round picks is not a good plan for sustained success in the NFL.
If Jimmy G hadn't forgotten how to pass in the 4th quarter of playoff games last year, they wouldn't have gotten that title either.

Sucking our way to number one. I think we can do it!
Texans almost have the #1 locked up.

The Bears would have to lose out and the Texans would probably have to win their three remaining games against the 4-7 Browns, 3-7 Jags and 4-6-1 Colts unless they somehow upset the Cowboys, Chiefs or Titans, plus they would still require all other teams with 3 wins to win another game (Bears will lose the tiebreaker to all of those teams. They are picking higher because the Bears currently have one more loss. Once the bye week happens for the Bears, all teams with 3 losses will jump ahead of the Bears).

Ugh, the fucking Chargers screwing up a perfect tank day for the Bears. Needed Arizona to win that one to push them up to 5 wins...

It was better for the Chargers to win. Places them one game out of the playoffs behind the Ravens. The Bears need the Chargers to make the playoffs over the Ravens, so that 2nd rd pick can improve. So it was a win for the Bears.

Plus chargers winning boost Denvers SOS which might be important. Arizona will still win a few more games

The Bears SOS is high, way ahead of everyone else. I doubt that will change the rest of the year.

Raiders win. Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Knocks another team off 3 wins.

If we lose out they only need 2 wins

The eagles having a top 10 pick is absolutely insane.

This is madden franchise mode level stuff from Roseman.
