Not sure why so dramatic, Wilson is the only serious injury so far isn't he? These injuries like we are seeing are expected throughout the season. Would I like to see less of them, yes. But it sure could be worse.

I'll be outraged for Tillman

I would expect to see Washington and Houston inside more. Washington is enourmous and plays the run with a ton of power so I would not mind seeing him get some reps.

Huh? 6'4" 265 lbs Washington?

TBH, I would much rather those players get healthy and miss this week while our defense plays against the NY Jets questionable offense. It gives rotational players a opportunity to get some experience and confidence before heading into GreenBay. I did think this game though would be a good game for Shea to solidify his play, but oh well.
I am hoping Christian Jones gets some playing time. Ego and Sutton should make a statement also. We need to do the same thing we did against the 49ers and take out the run game.

Chicago Tribune says Shea has a fractured hand. If thats the case, he'll be out a lot longer than 1 week

Possibly. He could play with a club hand. Not sure that he would though.

Ratliff is a big loss.

Ratliff and Slauson are the two biggest loses IMO. Arguably our two best players on the lines, and the game is won in the trenches.

we're piling up injuries faster than our already injured guys are healing

clearly the solution is for them to heal faster

If he is 265lbs right now I would be shocked.

He plays big, he has long arms and is very strong and he offers little outside pass rush. Sounds like the perfect guy to take some reps inside.

Those weights are also their combine weights which they all drop a ton of weight for.

Anyone actually believe Slauson is 315lbs? He is every ounce of 340lbs.
