Actually it does not unless you are butchering the pronunciation.

It is French, so it is pronounced closer to "Ja May" than "Jam Ass".

I prefer everyone to play their natural position (Whitehair should be a guard while Daniels should play center) however I know that a QB and center need to be on the same page and Trubisky and whitehair have experience with each other.

I am of the same mindset especially since Daniels was supposedly one of the best centers in the draft. If there is going to be a change at center, now would be the time.

Bears website has Daniels listed at 295lbs. Combine had him at 306lbs. Still kinda light for the NFL and he only did 21 reps at the combine. I'm ok with Kush at LG till he learns the playbook, terminology, and recognizing NFL defenses while he beefs up.

Hiestand talks like the offensive version of Fangio. He said that out of all of his OLineman, Kush is the one he would want with him in a street fight.

Whitehair at LT? That's what he played coming out and only played G when we ran out of them.

It all hinges on Kyle Long's status. They need him to be healthy to lock down the RG spot leaving only the LG/C combo as the question mark. If RG is also up in the air, it makes things immensely more complicated.

I don't like Whitehair at center at all, but I could see the Bears sticking with that for a season to let Daniels get comfortable with NFL competition before handing him the reigns. Center is a tough spot to play as a rookie given the extra responsibilities.

I dont like Whitehair at center either. How many bad snaps does one need to prove he needs to play guard.

So, what, the bears are worried if the put Daniels directly at center like they did Whitehair, then Daniels will have a tough go too? The difference is that Whitehair played Tackle and guard in college, not center. I dont like allowing Daniels to forget being a center, then expect him to just jump right in.

Any yes, Biggs is assuming that Long is going to be available this year.

I think the worst thing the bears did to whitehair was sign sitton and push Whitehair to guard. I think the same mistake happens pushing Daniels to guard.

At least they have these options. This team is most likely still a last place team in the NFCN. I'd give Daniels a spot a let him play just like they did with Whitehair his rookie season. They just need to give them a spot and let them stay there.

It is time to cut ties with Grasu. He's been brutal. He's a center only and teams don't keep backup oline players who can play 1 position only.

I'm not buying that they're a "last place team" not for one second. This team is too talented with too much upside to be anything but at least a second place team in this division. To think they'll win less than 8 games this season is unrealistic. The defense is too good and going to be better. The offense, granted their in the first year of a new system, has more talent than any Bears offense in my lifetime and perhaps anybody's lifetime. They have a new kicker. The team has depth. There is no way this team doesn't not do well. 9 wins would be on the low side. 14 would be on the high side. I'm going with 11/12 wins. That might be enough to win the division or at least second place and it might be enough for a first round bye or at least a wild card. If Trubisky is everything we hope he is and can be, this is going to be a pretty incredible year. Looking forward to it for sure!

Is the parade route planned? Why just 14 wins on the high side?

Whitehair did 16 and weighed 301. Seems he somehow manages.

Yeah I don’t really see why we are using this bench press metric. If you are an o lineman you damn well better be using your legs and core, or you’re gonna have a bad time.

Well his arms are 33 3/4" so i think the equation is add one rep for every 1/4" over 32" so actually he did 28 reps. throw in the +5 bonus reps for being #2 in the 3 cone drill and he is entering elite status.
