  1. Chicago Blackhawks
With the Bears losing and Saints winning, that should put the Bears at pick 5 in the draft. Should be good enough to trade back to a QB needy team or to draft Will Anderson Jr or Jalen Carter.
Bears get better by getting worse!
Do you think instead of trading back the Bears can draft a QB for throwing downs?

There is no reason tank. They already did that with personnel decisions and trades. Maybe they can beat the Packers. Very slight chance of winning at Detroit. So you're looking at between 3-14 and 5-12. Call it down the middle 4-13.
But the difference in value between pick #2-#4 can be immense.

That's your reason to tank. Especially considering that our SOS screws us on tie break situations.

Am I the only one who thinks Jalen Carter is overrated?

Seems plainly inferior to Quinnen Williams and even Jonathan Allen in terms of recent DLine prospects.

Yet he keeps getting called the best in recent memory
You are not the only one. Maybe I’ll eat crow on this, but with all the hype he’s getting as the best defensive player in the draft and a top 5 guy, I’m not seeing it. Not when I watch him and certainly not in his numbers which are absurdly pedestrian

Wait...a DL who doesn't do much and puts up no numbers/pressures

Sounds like a perfect fit for this bears team.

I’m not too hyped about carter but if Anderson is there I’m taking him. My fav idea though is trading the picks for a haul try to get stacked on talent like Philly. Or trade those picks for more bad players like claypool ?‍♂️

UGA homer here, but I’m being objective (glad Poles traded Quan). Jalen Carter is absolutely not overrated, and if he’s there at 5, Poles better sprint to the podium.

He’s been dealing with an injury this year. Last year, as part of UGA’s historic defensive front, he generated more pressure than all of them. His size, speed and technique is ultra rare.

I watch every single game. He is going to wreck shit once he gets into the league.

This is likely the second season in a row where Fields won’t play an entire regular season. Upgrading the offensive line is an absolute must.

It couldn’t be anymore obvious that this is needed. If they trade back they can get a top LT or WR and will have 1sts next year, and potentially more.

I’d love the top defensive talent but realistically this is the move.

There is every reason to tank. The higher the pick, the greater the value and on a team with as many needs as they have, they need all the value.

He had an absolute BEAST next to him (Jordan Davis) last year. Is that part of the reason he’s regressed?

Part of me really wants to take the best OL available but the smart and responsible thing to do is to upgrade the OL with proven veteran talent.

Cash that top 5 pick in for the best pass rusher and WR available.

My dream is they trade back with a team with 2 firsts, and get Carter and Skoronski.

Won’t happen, but wouldn’t it be nice.

The better play is to upgrade the line in FA. Actual proven talent instead of relying on rookies to protect the franchise. You can still trade back after addressing the line too.

The Bears should be cheering for the Raiders right now, they move up to the #3 pick with a Raiders win. If the Bears end up with a top 3 pick and it is looking that way, Bears will most likely trade down in the draft as they should.

Yeah like I think the guy is a 1st round dude. But the production is crazy underwhelming.
