The latter.

It's too much of a ginourmous need. This team in no way can neglect that in favor of a RB at #10.

How else is our defense every going to get off the field?
I agree. I believe our first three picks should still be devoted to adding young talent to both the offensive and defensive lines.

Bears really need to decide is Braxton Jones the guy or not. If he isn't, then I think it's clear we are taking a LT at 10 unless Mason Graham or Abdul Carter drop unexpectedly.

Now that Simmons has come "clean" that it was never an ACL tear but a Patella Tendon, I think he is out at that #10 spot. Perhaps they take a chance on Membou from Missouri. Athleticism is over the charts and with having an All Pro next to him in Tuney, would give him time to really mold into a good LT.

You can also just play Jones this year at LT, draft Simmons or a tackle in the 2nd then let Jones walk in 2026.

I think we still go Membou, but we do need DE. Do we get Sweat2 in FA? Do we take Jeanty? G/C in 2nd round? IDK. But we have options. Draft talent not need and that is how you improve.

If we don't get somebody like Sweat2 at DE in FA, that may be where we go at #10. Center we can get later if we don't get Dalman. But honestly our first three picks should only be T, G, C, DE, DT, or Jeanty. That's it, IMO.

Yeah things aren't clear now. Membou would have to play LT then? He won't be starting over Thuney or Jackson. Wright isn't gonna get benched (yet).

Could also see what kiran has after a full off season where he shouldn’t need to be rehabbing and is just working on strengthening

Correct you were entertaining a thoroughly stupid idea. I did not claim you said it was happening. I said you were stupidly considering/contemplating it which you just admitted. Asking a question means you are stupidly considering/contemplating it.
no, not always...

some questions can be rhetorical, for example

Can you quote my crying please? Also, why when you made a list of impact guys and ways to acquire them, you didn’t say a trade? I’d have clarified that’s what we were talking about since you butted in like a blind idiot.
You have been crying the last couple days. We had a debate, you said you were done when posters asked us to chill then you have brought it up over and over again since then because your feelings were hurt.

I didnt bring it up because the discussion was FA. Note that you never mentioned trades either in that FA discussion. However since you are being dumb and trying to use a trade to justify your argument about FA when trades have nothing to do with FA, I can also use this trade to justify my argument about FA.

Either trades are irrelevant to our FA discussion for both of us or they are relevant for both of us. I leave it to you to decide but it won't be that you get to use trades for your FA argument but I do not. You cant be this biased.

Quote it. You know what you replied to. Quote and show how I was crying.

And no, you didn't mention trades cause you knew exactly what we were talking about. I was replying to the available cap we have to sign free agents and need to compete with other teams with cap to bid for players. You know this. Nice try though.

And no, I didn’t mention trades cause I wasn’t talking about trades dumb ass. See how that works? You jumped into my convo. My terms. If you wanted to introduce trades, you should have. As I said, I would’ve clarified I wasn’t talking about trades.

The important thing is that it puts us in position to take BPA at a position of need (since straight BPA isn't realistic).

People are saying there's a chance that Mason Graham drops due to a lackluster combine. I doubt he falls to 10, but for argument's sake, lets say he does. You now have no reservations whatsoever about taking him there because you've done enough to feel you're not going to suck on the O-line if you don't walk away with a Campbell, Banks or Membou at 10.

Bears need to make sure Caleb is upright to throw passes. His year two development is important. Even if these guys are two year rentals, its worth it.
Chiefs fans are saying Thuney is close to retirement so it's good they got rid of him. Does anyone have anything other than "he's 32 years old" to support that idea?

Except you did dumbass.

Well, looks like Poles is trading for players instead of signing all the impact guys available. LMAO.
Why would we trade for Thuney when 10 million dollar impact players are there for us? wtf. Amirite, @remydat?? LMAO

We were talking FA and you stupidly tried to use one GM trading for a guy to argue there arent any impact guys in FA.

So you are the one that interjected trades in a FA discussion and I responded in kind to show your hypocrisy.

So which is it? Are trades relevant to our FA discussion or not? You are so butt hurt you cant keep track of your own posts.

Not that I can see.....dude is playing at top level. Even 1 to 2 years is worth it.

Were they saying that before today?
I don't know. I checked in on a Chiefs board and they largely seem happy to get a 4th rounder next year because Kingsley Suamatea played well at guard in week 18 (lol). They also were sad that Thuney is getting sent to a terrible team in the Bears.
