If people are hating on Daniels they must not have watched him play.... dude seems like he is going to be very good. Doing everything asked of him and more. I still think the Bears made the right call long term. I do think the early rib injury should be a cause for concern before he ends up like Cam/RGIII. Still, that may be a bit premature on my part.
There's literally a thread on CCS right now trying to explain away his success and it is not grounding in logic.

What's this mean? He's had 2 bye weeks and kicked the shit out of Detroit and hung with the super bowl eagles team with a 3-14 squad
Russ won the game last night, but his 1st quarter was very forgettable.
That is what I mean. Flus starts out slow after a bye. Doesn't explain the end result, but for some reason, it is what it is. Maybe if it weren't a bye they may have beaten the eagles and if you havent noticed, the bears are competitive with the Lions who don't worry me a bit. They compete hard against Detroit.

I'm more concerned about Green Bay because since Flus has been here, they've been laying down on Packers week.

If Jayden plays the streak of holding teams under 21 has a decent chance of ending. I already feel like the defense is for real. To be able to hold Washington to 21 or under would seal that.

They’re going to struggle to hold our offense as well so conventional wisdom tells you lots of points are going to be scored. Which means the game will end 13-10.

What's the NFCN narrative if the Bears manage to win this one? Especially if done in a convincing fashion?

the only knock on JD5 coming out of college was that he is injury prone. He is elite when he can run but he will get his head knocked off and will be a repeat of RG3 if he continues to run. He has yet to prove he can pass without running the ball included in his game

Its going to be a tough game...

But...

Vegas likes the Bears odds as Redskins are underdogs at home.

It went from Bears at 1.5 to Bears at 1

Vegas must like something about the Bears....

If I were a betting man, I'd bet Washington....If you are going to bet, bet the dog....odds are changing tho

A Bears win inches them closer to respect from the national media. The question that you see over and over lately is “who have they played?” Good wins kill that narrative.

I don’t know what it means in relation to the division. Not much really. I mean yeah, like I said it helps with putting in peoples minds that we can compete for the division and are for real. Problem is the other teams keep winning. Most people, and rightfully so, are all in on Detroit. Shit, everyone is still in on Green Bay and Minny as well. It’s just a damn tough division and until the Bears beat them their wins are going to be followed with a “But they’re still probably the 4th best team in the division.”

The Bears are 1 point favorites on the road. I am surprised they are favored if Daniels was playing. But then again, I feel like they would be favored more if it was Mariota. So not sure what to take out of that line.
Does anyone know what the line was before Daniels got hurt? Curious if that factored much since he's seemingly ok.

Two roads lie ahead of us:

1: This is the start of the Bears long playoff run lead by our future HOF QB Caleb “tough as nails” Williams.

OR

2: This is game is proof that Poles and Flus are frauds and they drafted the wrong QB. They both should be fired. And Tankathon 3.0 will commence immediately.

On Friday or Saturday I saw Chicago +1.5.

Home teams used to typically get 3. Now it’s like 1.5 to 2.

Vegas is basically saying it’s a dead even matchup on a neutral site with Daniels playing.

I'm more impressed that they ended up with a close score on the Ravens than any of their wins. When you have a rookie QB, how they play against a playoff team shows a side that you don't get to see when they play a team that is lucky to find occasional wins.
The Ravens have been uncharacteristically terrible on defense. They are 4th worst in passing TDs given up per game and dead last in pass yards given up per game. They give up the 6th highest passer rating in the NFL. They are 9th in points given up. That said, one could argue they've faced some good teams to start, but even the Raiders did well against them.
