don't get me wrong here btw im not saying we should be handling women like cavemen and whatnot but firing someone from their job because they make a comment that someone has nice tits? wtf
do women get fired because they might mention such and such has a nice ass or big muscles?
there are certainly lines that shouldn't be crossed in the workplace or anywhere else but gimme a fuckin break people are gonna be p[eople and men and women are gonna be attracted to each other its a big part of the human experience
Technically, a woman can be fired for that. Most men wouldn't complain though even though there have been a cople of cases where a man files sexual harassment charges--like when a married man is come unto by a beshemoth.
Ultimately, I think the issue is less of him "whispering to a coworker about a woman with funbags", and more like him saying it with a megaphone for all to hear--as is all social media. That's the big difference. It would be the same if I was upset by one of my superior's business decisions. If I mention it to a vetted co-worker in my situation that I think the superior got his MBA out of a crackerjack box, no harm no foul if they think the same. If I posted it to Twitter with names and pictures, when that gets back to said superior you bet your ass my ass would get canned--which is essentially what that guy did.
In other words, if you're going to make a comment about someone on social media, you gotta think whether or not they, or anyone else who might get butthurt about said comment will see it. If yes, then perhaps your choice of social media is not the best forum for the comment.
