Listen to Laurence Holmes' broadcast last night and tell me if you still think it's not a big deal.

I think you and the rest of the people who are all over Bernstein about this would do well to listen to Herb's comments right after Holmes' piece. Right around the 23 minute mark of the segment. He says that he really hopes that people actually listen to what Holmes said, rather than just shallowly enjoying the schadenfreude about Bernstein.

I think he hits the nail on the head. Most people criticizing Dan over this don't give a shit about respect towards women; they're purely using the whole incident as an opportunity to lay into Bernstein.

That's what I mean by "it's funny you suddenly picking up the baton about respecting women". You fall firmly into the group Herb was talking about.

He also plays dumb when called out by reasonable people with differing opinions. He has strong opinions and does not stand for nuance or discussion when he is offended. He is also very ignorant when it comes to criminal law but doesn't ever have an actual criminal attorney on the show as a guest.

Guy has a good show, best heard as a podcast in my world. What I don't care for, I skip. I don't listen to hockey talk or a lot of his anti-football droning.

Terry has lost the plot talking about how he doesn't want to watch football anymore. The NFL is no more evil than any other American corporation from what I can see. If he wants to avoid doing business with anyone who isn't pure, he better quit his job and move into the woods to live off the land. Does he apply the same moral standards to his mail man, grocer, the fireman etc...?
