Or just very vocal about his opinions? Obviously, I think this more correct.
I find it odd people recall various defenses Dan has made over the years about other peoples comments in relation to this.
All I know is I've definitely heard him say worse things about other women, be it an athlete or an anchor on air than that he likes their giant boobs. Don't truly care enough about him to recall things he really said though.
"Self righteous" is a subjective opinion. Opposing violence against women doesn't mean you're a hypocrite if you voice admiration of someone's boobs, even if it is done in a childish and unprofessional manner.
The issue here is the definition of the word "hypocrisy", and this ain't it.
This is no bueno. It's completely unprofessional. I imagine he's in some deep shit after this, but maybe not since he can say whatever he wants and is pretty much invincible there.
Spiegs should've told him to knock it off too instead of trying to avoid it. Just a really, really bad night for 670.

Dan carries the 'I'm offended FOR you' cross for women.
And yet his behavior suggests otherwise. Whether it's Megan Glaros or Kate Upton or whomever - what he suggests is anything but noble.
If he was just a dude saying 'she sucks as a reporter, but has a great rack', that's one thing. When you carry the sword of 'Civil Justice Warrior', you are gonna get shit - and be called a hypocrite - when your words and deeds suggest otherwise.
I don't think it's 'recalling what he said'.
This is being discussed on various forums. I for one, am just relaying what others have said in multiple threads on multiple sports and news forums.
I haven't heard or seen the comments, but apparently he's made some shady tweets about Kate Upton and a few really nasty comments about Brittany Griner. That shit's all gone surface and become exhibits C, D and E.
But it will be interesting to see how far the outcry is. Dan is a far lefty - he's supposedly 'one of them' when it comes to feminists/etc. Wonder if they'll be calling for his ouster? Surely that would happen if he was on the other side of the social issue perspective.
Although that is tasty - especially on Deadspin. Watching them eat one of their own!

Dan Is that you?
I've never been harassed at work. I just find the public outcry pretty nuts in retrospect of what real "harassment" is in the work place. Pretty interns being sexually advanced by a owner of company is an issue.
Dan Bernstein saying he like a chicks boobs on twitter?
Really?
Nice shirt potatoes might be the best thing I've heard all week.
No, just someone who understands the English language.
That's the thing though, I don't think he does "carry the cross for women". His platform has never been based on sexism, but abuse. It's always been about abuse, whether it was Ray Rice, Brandon Marshall, Penn state, Adrian Peterson, Jerry Sandusky, or even Ray McDonald (which is an instance I disagree with him). It's always abuse.
Again, this is childish, stupid, and offensive, but it isn't hypocrisy.
What is all this, "one of them" talk of breaking things into some the other idea? That really doesn't highlight any random objective view of anything.
But mentioning it i do recall Boers once saying he thought Kate Upton was skanky or slutty or some word like that and Dan was saying she just looks like a girl that wants to have fun and knows shes hot is all.
FatBabies,
I think you should probably take a break for awhile. You are caring way too much about this non-issue. It's borderline unhealthy.
My ex-girlfriend once called hers "fun pillows."
Has the actual woman involved made a statement about this? I mean - does she even care?
