WTF is a 'pure' back. Best runner was Sayers. Best all around player at the position was Walter. Galimore was special in his day but difficult to project someone I don't remember watching. Think Terrell Davis with more shake and an extra gear compared to his constituents.

Best Bear running back I ever watched, Sayers. I love Walter, but Sayers was the better runner.
It is hard to compare generations, because football was different with different offensive focus.
Would have hated trying to tackle the weebel we call Sweetness. Would have hated trying to track down Gale.... Embarrassment.
