Ouch. Orlando on par with St Louis? While there are definitely high and low points, that's a bit harsh. If you come to central FL again let me know and I'll steer you towards the high points

I think the problem was all of the rude ass Disney tourists and annoyed locals. I just know anytime we ventured off Disney's land, it was kinda sketchy and unpleasant. My sister and I are planning a Florida trip for next year so any advice would be much appreciated!

Yeah. It's definitely like that a bit down in the tourist area. On my phone right now, but I will try and remember to come back later and give you a good list. How long are you planning on being here? Time of year? Kids or no kids?

Next Tier: Tokyo, London, Rome, Paris, NYC, LA, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, and of course SF.

Shitholes: too many to list, and i green up in those Maine Township (East/South/West, and North before there Breakfast Club) suburbs - provincial, boring, uneducated, and depressing - they are far from the worst but i miss nothing about them and my lame-ass HS friends that never left the home town are so culturally deprived it would be sad if they ever realized the extent of it. Better not to know what they're missing i guess.

I like it in AZ. But I live in the west valley so not downtown unless flying or a ball game.
The summers are tough but most of the year is good. I'm a golfer and spend a lot of time outside worshiping the sun god. Golf in the morning and pool in the afternoon.

I have an office in Tempe so I'm quite familiar with the area. And yes, i avoid it during summers. However, Scottsdale, hoy shit, what a collection of beautiful and fit women, add great restaurants and bars, super-affordable housing and if i wash''t a happily married man entrenched in his community i would beeline for Scottsdale. tomorrow

Well, however bad Maine Twp. might be, and I am living in it presently, they will have a president soon as an alum of South. Heck, I always thought South was sort of affluent and nice, but ya, West and East are LOL depressing. I took my SATs at South; seemed nicer than most of the CSL to me.

Oh and LOL at the "highlights" of Central Fl....what's that a titty club with a generous buffet for lunch?

every couple years I make the pilgrimage to Pamplona for San Fermin, after a couple days of that debauchery I need the beach/food/drink that San Sebastian offers like no other.

Have never made it to Ibiza, I'm on the wrong side of 40, married, and not into the Molly + electronica scene.
