My favorite teams
Oh and LOL at the "highlights" of Central Fl....what's that a titty club with a generous buffet for lunch?
And yet, 60 million people come here a year: http://media.visitorlando.com/press...lion-Visitors-Sets-New-Record-For-US-Tourism/
But that's not even the point. Most tourists miss some of the best central FL has to offer and get stuck in the tourist trap that is International Drive / Lake Buena Vista (and I'm PERFECTLY fine with them all staying there). Don't get me wrong, the parks are fun. I'm an annual premium passholder to all the Disney parks and we go a lot, but the best parts of living here are off the beaten path a little.
Take the multiple springs for example. Rainbow, Wekiwa, Blue (only to name a few) are all amazingly beautiful places.

Want to grab dinner and drinks someplace not touristy / insanely busy? Head downtown Winter Park. A bunch of fantastic restaurants / sidewalk cafes, shopping etc in a beautiful setting.

Want to basically be on your own private beach? Canaveral national seashore is tranquil and fucking beautiful. One of my favorite places in the world.

Grab some dinner at JB's on the Indian River at the end of the day, less than a half mile outside the gates of the park.

This is the view from the outside deck on the Indian River (ocean is about 1000 feet the other direction, it's on a very thin peninsula).

It's especially fun when you turn on the news and see everyone else buried in snow / freezing their asses off. This is only a small list of what's here. I could go on and on. Is this the best place in the world to live? Certainly not. But it's pretty god damn good.
