TecmoSuperbOwl, I hear what you are saying, but it is hard for me to consider Peppers a "Bear" in the same vein that I consider the others.
I also don’t include people who are not yet Hall of Fame eligible because there’s no question peppers is goung into the Hall of Fame

Devin Hester and it's not even close
How's that ? Hester was a 4x All Pro / 4X Pro Bowler. One year in which he touched the ball 63 times all season and had 1 TD at his PB position as return specialist. He was great for 2 seasons, disappeared for 2, briefly resurfaced in 2010 and 2011 then went back to being just a guy.

Hilgenberg was a 5X All Pro/7x Pro Bowler, once taking over as starting center in 1984 missing only 6 games in 8 seasons. He was the best NFL center for a decade.

Fun to watch, sure. As far as HOF deserving. It is not even close.

Honestly If any other former Bear doesn't make it, that would be ok. I think Hester and Tillman have a chance. Hester most likely...

The case for Tillman is interesting, because he never got the attention he deserved until much later. He wasn't at thew top of the booyah list for espn highlights

I'd rather vote for the worst Bears player in the Hall of Fame. That would be a more fun and interesting discussion.

I'm voting singletary.

I've heard writers say to make the cut, you need to change the way the game was played at the position. Hester did that - peanut maybe, but no one will ever have a career returning the ball like Hester.

Look at his probowl selections, first team all pros and DPOY awards......I don't see a legit argument for him not being there

I would have loved to have seen what Marty Booker would have done on another team that had talent.

Beneficiary of playing behind the NFLs greatest line, but voted in because writers liked his googley eyes in nfl films.
