Warren Zevon had it right, “enjoy every sandwich”. Simple too many options.

I forgot about this thread. Lol.

I do love a Tampa Cuban, but I normally go with the non salami version. I've got a great cuban sandwich spot right down the road and dude has like 30 variations of it...but I almost always go for the "standard".

The Monte Cristo is also amazing. Especially with some raspberry preserves...but I can only eat half of one until it's too much.
So did I

Hot pastrami with pepper cheese and more.

Yogi’s Hoagies in Charleston IL.

Until some young guy named Jimmy John put them out of business. 😢

At Planet Sub in STL I had a sandwich that was pastrami, sauerkraut, pepperjack, and dijon.
It was really good.

Po Boy's are great but I get tired of the same bread.

They have pretty great cheeseburger sandwiches at Au Cheval in Chi city... I would highly recommend getting one sometime in your life.

I am a pretty big fan of a New Mexico (Lobo) roast beef sandwich from Relish.

Around here people rave about Tully's, I have only been once, but it was pretty dang good although a little heavy on the olive tapenade on the particular sandwich I ordered, something that I will be more cautious about the next time we go for a bite.

McRib is coming back, y'all!
You can even buy a half gallon jug of McRib sauce!
Fascinating times we live in!
