And Go!

Buffalo Joes (Evanston), Bird's Nest and Melnicks have been my Top 3 for a while now. But I recently tried Output and they are right up there with Bird's Nest IMO.

Melnicks is always my go to spot. I love the half and half order with Firecracker and Traditional Spicy.

He says, to the one person who doesn't eat them like a pig. :)

Sorry, but sticking the whole fucking wing on our mouth, end first, and sucking everything off, is just flat out gross.

Besides, the flappers are better than the drummies.

The flats and the drums are both lollipoped.

Crosstown Pub in Naperville AINEC... they just opened a location in Batavia but it's not as good as the flagship store in Nape.

There's a place called Hooters that is pretty decent for wings.

Looks easier to eat, but includes parts you don't want to eat. Interesting, though.

I'm waiting for the obligatory "The wings I get frozen from Marianos/Jewel/Walmart/Meijer are actually really good"

I am always open to a better wing, but yes, I am voting for Jewel Hot Wings from the deli.

1) They are not sauced as the heat (or honey if you like sweet) is part of the breading and not a "dressing"
2) I've had a lot of others like BWW, Hooters, and I'd still put Jewel ahead.
3) Easily the best bargain too.

I tried the wings at Jewel a few weeks back for a quick lunch. They weren't terrible. But they were what I expected.

Driven right passed it and never noticed it, just another Chinese place, but turns out not really.

Yeah, it's worth it to check out next time you drive by. The funny thing is when you walk in it's just a hole in the wall little chinese restaurant, but then you'll see tables of dudes just eating wings and nothing else.

I need to go check this place out.

How long have they been there? It was a different place before a few years back, like a hot dog stand or something or am I recalling that incorrectly?

Seriously though, I looked at the menu and I want to try about 10 things at least.

Don't you end up with all that fatty crap that is on the end, that one would not normally eat?

(Except I see people all the time stick the whole thing in their mouth and suck all the meat and fatty crap off - gross.

There was a Dominican dude at my work a while back who loved chicken so much he said he cracks the bones to suck the marrow.

It used to be called George's 10 years ago.

So true. The wings are by far the best thing on the menu

I got food poisoning from wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. That was like 7 years ago and I haven't been able to eat wings since. Sucks because I used to love wings.
