Agreed. Looks like a shit ton of bacon between some bread. I make a fire ass BLT. It's modified as fuck since I throw in some avocado and switch the lettuce out for spinach on toasted wheat. Straight fucking fire.

The BLTs in the OP look horrible. I love bacon but that much will pretty much give you a heart attack. How can you even pick it up? Tomato on the side?

That’s not a BLT. It’s a plate of bacon topped with a slice of bread

Agreed. I do like spinach, but a BLT needs a fresh n crisp iceberg lettuce leaf.

Lettuce adds no nutritional value. That's why I swap it out.

If that’s what you’re into, just make the bacon and save yourself the time of making the other parts you don’t actually want. This is a pile of bacon with toast on top and few tomato slices on the side. Kind of gross the they even bothered to put mayo on the bread because you clearly have to pick that off the top and eat it by itself.

I'm also in the no spinach crowd. The texture and neutral taste of iceberg lettuce is necessary to offset the saltiness of the bacon. If I'm eating a BLT, not worried about the nutritional value. The avocado however is definitely a nice addition. Anyways...

To me, a great BLT (or any sandwich for that matter), is all about the proportion, quality, and layering of components. This looks like an absolute disaster for the sake of "more bacon".
