Boy oh boy. I love Noah, but he better bring it a little more on the offensive end to justify the stance that Bulls' management is taking. Melo + Rose (assuming he takes another step) + a healthy Boozer + better role players (Korver, Brewer, etc.) can beat the Heat.

I just read the Thonus' media day interview with Scalabrine and Scalabrine made the comment that the post players are the QB of the defense.

And since defense is a huge part of what Thibodeau brings to the team, it kind of seems to elevate Noah's significance even more.

Just think about it. We actually probably have better defensive personnel than what Thibodeau had to work with in Boston. Im talking about individual defenders.

This (Noah v. Melo) looks like it will be the hot topic until Feb., and it should be. But I think the Nets roster is more of a problem for Melo than anything else. He just won't watch Lebron make a big splash with Wade and Bosh, just to counter those moves with going to Jersey to run with Brook Lopez. The Nets won't have enough talent on their roster (post trade) to justify Melo signing there long-term.

But as far as the Bulls including Noah in a deal for Melo is concerned. I say just do it.

We are not getting Melo. So please let's stop torturing ourselves with this stuff. Noah is the anchor of our post D, the best offensive rebounder in the league, our best rebounder, & as Thibs said the other day, the equivalent of KG to our defensive scheme (not in talent, but importance to the D & energy factor). I'm not saying I wouldn't do the trade cuz I would. But believe me, this WILL NOT HAPPEN. GarPax spent alot of time this summer building this roster with hard working players to fit their new coaches style. They are not going to blow this thing up heading into training camp.

You all know I'm speaking the truth, so let's just hold off on all the FO bashing, Noah lover bashing, & so on. Let's see what this current roster can do first.

LOL at trading JJ. That guy is fucking terrible. He's a garbage piece to any trade.

It's entirely possibly Noah and Deng get hurt by midseason and we have less to trade than we do now.

Im officially on the bandwagon now for trading Noah. Simply put, Melo is a top 5 player in this leauge and Noah isint even an All-star. You trade Deng and Noah and have 3 all-stars on this roster. We can find a poor mans Noah, to fill in the gap. You will NEVER find ANYONE who can do what Melo can do and honestly, if we don't go for this, we will never ever EVER have the chance again to get a top talent the calibar of a Melo. These type of guys dont switch teams every day and we will never have the money to sign any significant free agents. If Noah is what is holding us back from making this move, make the move, suck up that the interior will take a big hit this year and patch it up going into next year. Regardless, with a Melo, were a top team in this leage.
