Those lines make me want to put 200 bucks on a Hawks win. The odds have to be really fucking low that they win this one. Money maker!!!!

Hawks still win and I am going to at least turn 200 bucks into 600 bucks. NICE WORK ME!!!

We will wait and see.

About the time I think I have a gut feeling, they have proven me wrong.

If they don't win tonight I am honestly beginning to think that the team has quit on the coaching/ management.

I have the gutt feeling its a win too tonight.

First goal is going to be a big thing for the Hawks and I do believe they will get it. Hell I think they will get the first 2 goals and not look back. No Gagner on the preds to ruin a 2-0 lead and turn it into a 8-4 game the other way.

I really am positive about tonights game. I think it could be a turn around game. I am never right though.

Bolland isn't a 2nd line center. Keep him on the 3rd line and match him up with the other teams top line.

Kruger at this junction isn't a 2nd line center, but at this point Q is desperate and trying to get something stick.

I've got a game tonight at 7:30. First game of the new session and I'm hoping to be back on D. I'm about as effective as Eager on wing.

So, you ******* better cheer loud so the Hawks stop losing.

Might as well go for ten straight. In other news the Wangs, the big brother the mildly Special person Blackhawks are trying to emulate, get its 21st straight home win, a new record. Oh, how I wish this team could be even half as good as that team is year in and year out.

The Hawks certainly are not going to beat the Rangers so that's that.

It's awesome that the Hawks are about to experience a 10 game losing streak yet still be alive in the playoffs for the west,

Hawks will rebound.

The Hawks will soon be on the outside looking in and it will be a struggle to make the playoffs like it was last year. I have serious doubts that the Hawks could all of a sudden find the consistency to string together wins to be in the top 8 with a safe margin. They have only been consistently bad. This team has never really fired on all cylinders at all this season, why would they all of a sudden get it now? Perhaps being outside the playoffs might motivate the players to give a shit and get Q fired along with Kitchen.

That should read 21 straight* home wins

*aided by shootout

problem is, Bolland IS a second line center. He plays great there. Q just doesn't like having him there for more than 4 games.

Only three of those are shootout wins. They still have 21 straight games without a loss at home. That's a massive accomplishment in a post-lockout, salary cap NHL, regardless of the technicalities of the wins.

The 1976-1977 Bruins had 34 straight home games without a loss. WOW. I doubt Detroit gets there, but at this point I wouldn't put it past them. That team almost never beats themselves.

I'm not denying the accomplishment at all, just stating that it's not what we are being sold.

One shootout in the streak means that it is no longer a "winning" streak, no matter what the NHL says, especially since Regulation and OT wins are considered in playoff seeding tiebreakers

That's a really small 5 hole. Our defense will probably try blocking the 5 hole leaving the large corners exposed.

As I said last night, we wouldn't really know the difference AND we'd have six skaters out there... Why not? We're better it seems without a goalie anyway.
