Also, how hilarious is listening to that recording? Bolland here's a couple laughs, says another stupid insult, here's some more, keeps going, then some real laughs and tells us which one gets which bunk. Hahahahahahaha, it was like a priest joke.

Didn't expect anything less from an orginazation that idolizes throwing in the towel. Team is chock full of pussy, and it starts at the top and works down.

While I hate the Canucks, I thought the comments were a bit silly. Instead of talking smack Bolly, try to elevate your game (granted he did have a couple of good shifts against the Wild). I'd prefer the team shut up with these comments and just show up in the games and beat the Canucks silly on the ice and be done with it. Actions speak more than words.

Probably just a couple of slow news cycles in Vancouver.

No feet washed ashore for a few days?

As it has been mentioned in a few articles I've seen. Bolly is a playoff performer, they said it derogatorily but I see no issue with it, Buff is the same way. But I'd rather have Bolly show up big in the playoffs than never show up at all.

While I agree for the most part, this was not to reporters looking for a story or him intentionally chirping before an upcoming game. This was at a Bar, joking during a radio show. They were just off the cuff remarks with no real meaning other than to reinforce the stereotypes that have been floating around the league for years. He didn't go out of his way to make the jabs as far as I know, the topic was brought up to him and he made some tongue in cheek remarks.

I love it. He's just saying what everyone else in the league thinks too. Nobody can stand the Canucks. They and their fans are as classless as they come.

Bolland has had good stretches in the regular season too - so the "him only being a playoff perfomer" is a cop out for his regular season inconsistancies.

07-08

First 19gms - 1g - 5a - 6pts - -1

Last 20gms - 3g - 8a -11pts - +7

08-09

First 41gms - 8g - 16a - 24pts - +14

Last 40gms - 11g - 12a - 23pts - +5

- By far...most consistant year (and a contract year)

09-10

First 20gms - 3g - 5a - 8pts - E

Last 19gms - 3g - 5a - 8pts - +5

10-11

First 22gms - 1g - 4a - 5pts - E

Last 39gms - 14g - 18a - 32pts - +11

11-12

First 4gms - 4g - 1a - 5pts - +4

Last 23gms - 3g - 1a - 4pts - -12

I don't understand why it's sacrilegious to expect this guy to put more seasons like 08-09...or the second half of last season, or yes...the playoff numbers 43gms - 14g - 20a - 34pts

The team needs to win in the regular season...in order to make it/get a good playoff seed. If he would produce consistantly...it would take pressure off of other core players.

Aren't you the same person that rags on Bollie for always being injured? Wouldn't that have something to do with his inconsistencies in the regular season?

So when he's in the lineup/playing and not doing shit....he's injured.

But when producing...he's the greatest or must healthy

Every other core player that was kept after the Cup and identified as being the core - Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, Hossa, Sharp, Hjarllmarsson - has been expected to 1 - improve the game and 2 - produce consistantly. Keith had a bad year last year, and it was said him to be hurt a good portion of the season - but he was still taken to task for falling off.

Seabrook's game elevated. Sharp's improved. Hossa slumped last year...but the rest this offseason has him back to elite status. Toews and Kane's game both is at another level. Keith has had a very good bounce back year, showing last year was more of the fluke than all the others.

Hjalmarrson after cashing in on the cup contract at 3.5mil - should be more than just a shot blocking defenceman. And, IMO...Bolland being kept with the core - when Ladd with 29g last year, Versteeg 33pts in 30gms this year, Byfuglien with 74pts in last 121gms from the blueline - were let go.

Do I wish he'd produce more in the regular season? Hell yes the man has the potential to be an absolute beast and can dominate games just as well as Toews. There were playoff games where it was all Bolly. But he doesn't do that in the regular season and you know what, I really don't give a shit. You just have to make the playoffs you don't have to be first.

So Ladd Versteeg and Buff were all shut down centers? Might as well just throw Niemi on there too.
