I read the article differently. Although the wins and the point standing does not reflect

success in our eyes what I picked up is that the ones who have stepped up to perform are

additional talent draws that Dale brought to the team. I have held a belief since McD

started his involvement in the on/off ice production that as long as the team was winning we

would be fine. Once we are not, the off ice intervention with the players and the on ice

involvement from those who do not have a hockey background would take their toll. I hope

my concern is not coming to an earlier then thought happening.

Lets be honest here, the players do not have the admiration for the current back office

that they held for Dale. Add to that the chemistry that seems to have disappeared once the

current team was put together.

I can see that and I see what you are getting at, but I look at the three not named Crawford and I don't see anything to praise Dale about. These are diamond in the rough players having breakout seasons when given the opportunity. I don't think any of us here would be shattered if any of them were moved. I'd give up all three for a consistent producer.

Very valid point. There is not the same admiration or Loyalty IMO.

Dale had always said it was the "character" of said players that was important. Well look at the roles those players that left are filling with their new team. Take a flip of say the Vancouver Canucks who also shed most of their 3rd and 4th line for new players. Those guys aren't even in the NHL.

It will be interesting to see where Stan goes. This team will have at least 7 mil in "extra" Cap space next year. Time for Stan to build his legacy.

Not according to this article. It's actually hilarious that it's coming out now. If feels like a murder mystery that we could try to track back to McDick getting it planted so that if the Hawks miss the playoffs he can still blame someone else.

This team stopped being Tallons when he left. He has no impact on the team this year. A big part of the fire in them last year was their admiration for the man, they played their hearts out for him and the rest of the staff, how demoralizing must it be this year to have to play your hearts out for what... extra appearances at Meijer?

MEIJER PEOPLE, Hammer is doing a COOKING appearance at Meijer on Jan. 17th. WTF.

Just Win.

Not only did they play their hearts out for the man, but invited him for a wild night with the Cup down town. The pictures of that get together spoke volumes of just who was responsible for said Stanley Cup.

Will they eventually win another one, who the **** knows. This team is certainly not a contender.

Oh god, what is with you people and Tallon, I get it he was a great GM. But for the love of god, can we drop it its been three Fucken years, I know people in here don't like McD, cause he fired Tallon, but Jesus, turn the page already, Stan has done some very good moves too. I understand he is not a Tallon, but the guy had a shitty team for a while and had some really good picks, What the **** has he done in Florida since? JACK SHIT, besides bringing his former Hawks who have not produced, I think you guys give more credit to the guy then its due.

He brought the Hawks guys in to reach the cap floor. Maybe you forgot that. When you have a chance go look at the 2011-12 standings and refresh your memory. Thank you for your call.

2011-12...so what, my question is has he taken that team to the playoffs since he has been there, its not like that team was the 06-07 hawks where nothing was clicking...Again, he has made some good moves and had great success with draft picks, because we were shit for how long?, All Im saying is, when will this Tallon ass kissing stop? Im sure when this core is done with and the core from 2023 comes around, you guys will still be saying Its Tallons team....LOLOL!

It's still Tallon's team when winning...but Stan's if they're losing

I read that FLA would reach the finals before the Hawks ever did again when Dale left...how's that working out?

HAHA, Yup, BUT NO Tallon also was the reason the 1961 Hawk won. Like I said I like the guy but this place is making me hate him, its like listening to a song you like, but the radio station played it soooo much and now you hate it.

8 players currently on the team played in the 2010 Cup run.

Maybe you might want to look into who those 8 players are.

Seems to be a lot of that going on lately. Grimson has a little dick in him. Or is a little dick, or just has a little dick. One or all three.

Like I said the "Core" is still here.

You can include Bickell in that as we was traveling with the team and probably should have had his name on the Cup instead of Jay fucking Blunk. Crawford was also traveling with the team as a Black Ace. So 10.

Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, Bolland, Seabrook, Keith, Hjarlmarsson, Bickell, Crawford...

ETA: Meant to say, the current roster is thus amazingly enough a mixture of the last 4 Hawk GMs.
