I would be very surprised if I don't make the final cut of the film. I went to the first day of shooting at the UC and coincidentally sat behind a comedian who was cast to heckle James as he did the shoot the puck thing between intermissions. At the angle I was sitting (one row back, just over the heckler's left shoulder), the only way I don't make the final cut of the movie is if they cut the entire scene out of the film, or use such a close up angle that I get cut out entirely as a result.
From my location that day, I was just about 10-15 feet away from Vaughn and Connelly. She is truly spectacular looking in person.
With that being said, I was still "just an extra" and therefore have not received any updates since I left the set.
Ironically, I was on business in Philly in November and Vaughn happened to be having a drink in the hotel lobby where I was staying. It must have been a promo party for the movie because other cast members were there too (like the comedian I spoke about earlier). When I told Vaughn that I was in the movie, he laughed about the coincidence of running into each other 4 months after that shoot in an entirely different city. He seems like a nice guy but I wouldn't want to live his life. Hotel security had to escort two guys out of the lobby who were screaming f-bombs when Vaughn wouldn't sign a poster or something. He explained that he already signed one thing each for these two guys and politely asked them to leave, but they wouldn't listen. It was a surreal scene.
