Hawt start. Lovely pass by Panarin not doing the "safe" stupid play that would of lead to a 2 on 1 if not worse in passing the puck to the point many guys do in that situation.

Oh well. Hawks always struggle against Hutchison.

See you all tomorrow.

Was a pretty ugly one regardless of the shots.

Svedberg, Rundblad, and Daley were all pretty poor tonight. Bickell didn't make an impact or look hungry out there - pretty sure he didn't touch the ice in the third period much if at all.

Thought Kero was one of the best forwards out there. Patient, smart plays, hard on the forecheck - he looked good out there. Toews didn't have a great game after drawing a penalty with some hard work, just looked sloppy out there.

Would be real nice to see the offense get going tomorrow night...3 goals in 3 games with two of them in overtime.

That's the second positive review I've heard of Kero tonight.

Also read/heard good things about Bickell's game. (Missed yet another one)

Maybe Garbutt gets scratched and the third line is Bickell-Kero-Teuvo? I'd like to see that.

Bickell had a couple of good shifts but there was no consistency from his game and I don't think he touched the ice in the third period. He didn't have a good game.

Garbutt on the other hand, had a pretty good game after taking an offensive zone penalty. He created out there, used his speed, used his body, and was good on the forecheck. I'd be surprised if he is scratched.

From what I was able to gather on Twitter, the Teuvo scratch was not a benching of Teuvo, more just giving Bickell a chance to get back into the lineup.

I think it was also a TT scratch...I mean, at the end of the day they had to scratch somebody and Q chose someone he felt likely needed a kick in the ass to get going. Kero got his first look when they very easily could have sat him till tomorrow if they really wanted to get Bickell back in. TT just hasn't looked impressive so far this year. The high skill level is there but his overall game hasn't caught up yet.

Kero didn't impress that much IMO.
Rundblad just played a couple good games but seemed back to his old ways. The whole team looked sloppy and a step behind. Bad passing galore.

Kero and Runblaad standing late on one of even strength goals.

Pan was good. needs to shoot better.

I'll be the first to agree time to move Hobgoblin off the first line, its been stuck too long.

Maybe Garbutt gets scratched...
If you saw the game (or any game so far), you wouldn't even consider saying that.

Also, I've been a Rundbad apologist (to myself mostly) for too long. He needs to sit...preferably on an IED (low power, non-lethal version of course).

He has been playing well. I just said that because of the penalty he took in the first that wasn't so great. Saw that part of the game.
