Christ, there was one single turnover at 17:21, and if you call that a "bad turnover," you're really, really nitpicking. You surely can find something better to make your case against John Scott.
Scott had two blue line turnovers the next shift (right after the goal). They were both defensive ones.
I look for blueline turnovers. I hated Versteeg because of blueline turnovers.
When I coach I always stress blueline turnovers. They, just like faceoffs, are a very underrated part of the game in my opinion.
Scott turned the puck over those two times because he is a terrible hockey player. Just plain and simple. And yes, Frolik/Morrison would provide a whole lot more than Scott in my opinion.
