That first period is one of the most enjoyable Blackhawks' periods I've seen in a very, very long time. They had the Rangers looking like a USHL squad.

Anyone else think that Shaw might benefit from being a healthy scratch or being sent down to the AHL?

He came in like a blaze of fire...but he has blown some assignments lately and has been easily knocked off his feet and the puck. Looks like he has been losing some gas (adrenaline from early on probably).

I think he has a bright future with his skill set of speed and agitating, but he hasn't had the best games lately.

Shaw needs to get stronger on his feet.

I dont know whether that's a mental or a physical process for him but he'd be a lot more effective if he stopped falling so much
