My favorite teams
Uh no. 3rd line or better yet trade bait & sell high on his ass.
Stalberg did nothing wrong to warrant your hate.

take Mike Richards in a heart beat. Stan Blow & his infatuation with prospects.
Not happening, especially with his cap hit
This.
I'd like to see more out of him in the postseason, but there are a ton of Hawks players in that boat right now.
My God, if he could ever find hands that could catch up with his feet, he'd be electric on offense. But that's been said about him for a long time.
20 goal scorers at under a million dollars is not someone you trade...
:thinking:if it helps bring in a #1 goalie or a big internet badass behind a computer screen, you absolutely do.

oh I didn't know people wanted him gone just to have him gone. I assumed it was a "trade him while his value is high" thing.
Stalberg is the perfect person to potentially trade at the trade deadline for a super star. He is exactly the type of player a team with a superstar would want to get back in the deal (along with other pieces).
Trading him in the offseason wouldn't bring nearly as much as trading him at the deadline.
If we are talking about trading him of course, trading for the sake of trading isn't smart especially with his cap hit and what he brings for it.
we are all on the same page

What is the difference in making a trade to make a trade and making a trade to shake things up?this notion that teams "trade to just trade" is more or less something the fans came up with, most teams that make a trade that is questionable in all of pro sports is about change, shaking things up. GMs dont trade just so they make a trade.
