That's awfully similar to Grant Hill and a lot of people said he would never be able to play again in the NBA. All I'm saying is never say never. Oden probably won't be able to play next season but big men have come back before from micro-fracture surgery (i.e. Amare Soudemire, Chris Webber, and Kenyon Martin).
I could see if it was just that, but you can set you watch to when the next "Oden is done for the season" announcement is coming.

This dude is done.

Whoever wants Oden is a idiot. Noah owned him as a Gator and a Bull, his career is likely over but I wish him the best.

You're a fucking idiot.

In the NC title game Oden went for 25pts, 12 rebs, 1ast, 1stl, 4 blocks

Noah: 8pts 3rebs 4 fouls

What the hell are you smoking?

Apples and oranges a bit as Oden has had multiple surgeries during his career. Those guys were one microfracture surgery and done IIRC

Who had Al Horford on their team? Who was the one with micro-fracture surgeries? Oden was clearly a better player back when he was healthy. Obviously, Noah is better now simply because he can play.

That means nothing as far as "owning" Oden.

lol@ 8 points 3 rebounds owning anyone

just because you win a game doesnt mean you own another player in a specific game

i thought this was common sense

I am a Noah lover and all I said was Oden before the injuries > Noah.

If Oden was on the Bulls, I'd want him in a Kurt Thomas (3rd string C role) for chump change.

If the Bulls do happen to sign Oden, what will his roll be in the orginization?
Will there be some sort of handicapped wheelchair basketball exibition games during the half time show or somthing? :dunno:
Maybe we should get Oden.
That would be better than some of the halftime shows like the fatass matadors.
Or maybe he can sit next to Scottie Pippen and keep him company instead of that goofy that is always sitting next to him everygame.
He certainly wouldn't be brought here to actually play on the team right?
We already got "the masked man" to fulfill the bench warming roll.

Sounds about as beneficial as Scal's role to me.

Even in a wheelchair and bodycast, Oden probably can still beat the Scallywag.
I still don't understand why Scal was brought here.
This isn't a circus and I don't see the purpose of circus clowns on our team.
And I sure as hell hope that Scal doesn't become the assistant coach.
Thibbs must have some weird love for the guy or worse.
Id rather Oden be a bigman coach than Scally the clown.

I didn't know we had so many doctors on this board.

NBA players bodies are amazingly symmetrical. One look at Oden & it's easy to see his postural imbalances. His right leg is longer than his left. His right shoulder is lower than his left. His feet are everted or turned out. And his knees do not line up with his ankles & hips. All this adds up to constant injury.

Look at his list of injuries since college: bulging disc, right wrist, right ankle, right foot, right hand, right knee, & left knee. Oden has been a walking infirmary for years. His body simply is not built to withstand the constant pounding that your joints take when you play a professional sport.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure Oden was 34 when he was @ OSU.
