I think it would be great to sign Oden for practice operations before operating on our real players.

Just think of all of the discoveries the medical staff could learn from studying the animated corpse.

NBA players bodies are amazingly symmetrical. One look at Oden & it's easy to see his postural imbalances. His right leg is longer than his left. His right shoulder is lower than his left. His feet are everted or turned out. And his knees do not line up with his ankles & hips. All this adds up to constant injury.

Look at his list of injuries since college: bulging disc, right wrist, right ankle, right foot, right hand, right knee, & left knee. Oden has been a walking infirmary for years. His body simply is not built to withstand the constant pounding that your joints take when you play a professional sport.
