Are you sure it was the Buff breakaway? The only one I noticed was the Sharp breakaway against the Kings.
yeah, they showed it for half a second and only right as he was scoring and the angle was from behind the net so there was no way you could tell it was a breakaway unless you remembered the play. But it was definitely the goal since it was vs the Rangers and he came in alone on the goalie from left to right and tucked it in.
I'll defiantly pick up the BluRay when I can afford it
My copy of the blu-ray arrived this morning.

For any European (or anywhere else in the world) Hawks fans, the blu-ray is all-region (or region free). I tested it in my all region player and it worked fine when the player setting was for Region B.

Anyway, can't wait to spin it tonight.

Like a knucklehead, I ordered straight from WB. It's on backorder because of "overwhelming demand".

Re: Blackhawks Stanley Cup DVD.
My observations watching the DVD last night:

1) Bolland is one ugly dude - my wife said he was butt ugly

2) Colin Fraser has an afro that belongs in the 70s

3) Seabrook looks like he just rolled out of bed, no shower, no shave, just woke-up.

4) Toews speaks very slow and monotone and seems like he'd be a boring guy off the ice

5) Patrick Kane's mom is very attractive.

6) I was disappointed they didn't cover the regular season very well. All they covered was the Calgary comeback and that was it. I wanted to see Buff's one-on-one breakaway against the NYR to win the game in December as well as some other season highlights.

7) The Vancouver series was rushed through. There was not enough of an emphasis on the Versteeg goal with 1:30 left to play in Game 2 to put us ahead. The Hawks were sucking wind in that game in the 1st period and had a miracolous comeback.

8) Overall the DVD was pretty short. I enjoyed it but it was rushed and didn't cover enough. I thought the WhiteSox did a much better job in their 2005 DVDs. They had a regular season DVD, a playoff DVD, and then sold the complete games of the World Series. So I guess you can say I want more.
Yes, every time I saw him.

Some folks should wear their hair short. Once my hair gets to be a certain length, I grow wings.

That sucks. For me, I'm opposite. I look fucking goofy with short hair, but apparently, if my Fiancee is to be believed, I look good with long hair. In fact, I'm expressly forbidden from cutting my hair any shorter than shoulder length.

Has anyone got the Sports Illustrated DVD? I have it on order and wonder how similar it is to the NHL one. Just picked that up for $12

Just watched it... I thought it was pretty lame until I got to the Finals and the Parade highlights. Overall very good, but I was expecting more features.

This is why I was going to wait til the "Special Edition" comes out, should there be one... I suspect there will be one since the Ducks had one. It will not come out until November should there be one.... I ended up getting it through the NHL.com shop.

The DVD. It does have extras like the drafts and locker room celebration but at $19.99 I was expecting more.

Re: Blackhawks Stanley Cup DVD.

If you notice there is a flier in there for the DVD Box Set that comes out in October that has all the games from the Finals (Probably some special stuff too?) I could be wrong, I was distracted by John Madden dancing.
