they don't get Toews back, then they're done in round 1.

he comes back, maybe they win a round.

too many flaws on this team for me to think they can win a Cup with suspect defense & goaltending.

It was nice to see the PP come through eventually, but I really think the Hawks could've BURIED the Blues last night under an avalanche of PP goals.
The game started to feel like a Hawks/Nucks postseason game, where Vancouver goes into goon mode and the Hawks respond by lighting them up on the power play. That didn't happen last night, and it took a shootout to get the 2nd point.

Any team would have done that. So many chances and Halak was giving up rebounds. Despite that, I had zero faith that the Hawks would ever tally on the PP last night. It was and is horrible and I agree- if the Hawks powerplay worked, this season would be looked at so much differently. Like, night and day differently.

Like, 1st seed and 6th seed differently?

Feels like at least 5 or 6 games would've gone in the Hawks favor with, at least, a competent power play.
