thats fine...

then why bolland before hossa (even though he ended up scoring) lol

Bolland's numbers on the shootout aren't that impressive, but the guy does have a fair amount of breakaway goals to his name, particularly shorthanded.

I think there's so much focus on Bolland's defensive game that people forget he does have some offensive skills, too.

Lest we forget ...

Ill be honest...I actually think Bolland is overrated offensively. He makes a whole lot of poor decisions offensively and gets the blinders on when he has the puck. His junior numbers amaze me.

Decline the option?

Obviously Hossa.

Although if someone made the argument about which of those two players has notoriously disappeared, at times, in the playoffs, I can't say I'd disagree.

18 goals
18 assists
15% Shot Percentage
6 PP goals
3 SH goals

For a 3rd line center thats not too bad. money is a bit much, but he isnt really overrated....he isnt really rated at all. Most fans just look at him as the rat that pops off at the mouth.

Yeah, they were ridiculous. I think that's the only real disappointment I've had with him, is that I thought he was going to ultimately be the 2nd center to Toews. For whatever reason, those offensive skills never translated to the NHL.

At least, not consistently. There have been flashes of his offensive skills, particularly in the postseason. But I thought he could end up as a 50, 60-point guy.

That'll be less of an issue if Mark McNeill turns out to be the stud we all hope he can be and fills into the 2C role nicely. Having Toews, McNeill, and Bolland down the middle looks pretty damn good to me.
