It just seems like they can't play well while on the floor together. With 31 million between the two what are they going to do? Ideally we trade one for another big who wont be howard that's not why I started this thread. Just curious what you guys see happening. Can't see one starting on the bench either.

I think they are doing okay together. Boozer had a nice game in LA but was never involved offensively in Golden State. They will mesh better the more they play together.

Boozer is not going to get any better, this is what he is, he is a Injury Prone, Finesse Player

I would have gave him the Amnesty and moved on and when after somebody like Carl Landry to rotate with Gibson, but some fans for some stupid reason wants to hold on to this guy thinking he will get better...HE WON'T!

He is a Liability on Defense, he can't work well in traffic or when a double team comes or when he is playing against a taller PF and we basically have to SLOW THINGS DOWN FOR HIM! I think he is a HORRIBLE FIT with a young energetic team like the Bulls, we still need a BULLY IN THE PAINT OFFENSIVELY not another JUMP SHOOTER/FINESSE PLAYERS...Gibson is just the better fit IMO and should be starting at PF IMO

I dunno if Noah actually likes him ... I dunno if you guys saw it but when Boozer blew that coverage on the fast break Noah mean mugged him and shook his head!

2 games of him being healthy is too small of a sample size to panic..

But if he doesnt get any better this season I say AC him and sign Ray Allen

to me that is the problem, Williams MADE Boozer look better then he really is, Rose is more of a scoring PG, not really that PG that will get everybody involved or make his teammates better, Rose would be even better if he had like that Point Forward that can do a little bit of everything and get Triple Doubles and set his teammates up

Things just have to GO PERFECT for Boozer to effect IMO, he is not that guy you just drop it inside and clear out and let him dominate Offensively, that is just not what he is, he was a good Pick and Roll player with Williams in Utah (WHICH THE BULLS DON'T USE MUCH) and basically he is USELESS unless someone else is setting him up

Noah pisses me off with all of his tip attempts. Sometimes, you just need to go up strong and grab the offensive board. He's NOT Dennis Rodman.

If this is Boozer healthy then I am terrified of what we'll see when he is banged up later on in the season.

noah and gibson do have a lot more chemistry out on the floor though. They always seem to be on the same page

I swear man. Nobody has more pointless rebounds over the course of a game than Joakim Noah. A large amount of those rebounds come off of consecutive volleyed tip-in attempts that stand no chance of going in that ultimately get snagged by a defensive rebounder anyway.

YEAP!!! I noticed Noah doing that last season, can't really say I blame him especially on Defense because Noah is basically working by himself Defensively in the Paint because know Boozer don't play much Defense

But I still wouldn't trade Noah and Deng for Anthony knowing how close the Bulls are to being in a prime position to land Dwight Howard. There's not a lot of teams who have better trade leverage than Chicago. The Lakers are the only ones who could potentially out-bid the Bulls.

If by "prime position" you mean Howard doesn't want to come here...Sure.

Ok CO of the Bulls Forum.

One of the best trading chips we have you just tore up for getting meaningless rebounds.

What a chip!

Nevertheless, Noah still is among the better rebounders in the league and arguably the second best defensive center in the league. Noah is also one of the better centers to have on a fast-paced offensive team. His trade value is still very high and is one of the more ideal players you'd want to get in a return for Dwight Howard.

Unless the Lakers offer both Gasol and Bynum, I do not believe that they could out-bid Chicago. I am not convinced Dwight Howard doesn't want to come here. Minds can get changed very quickly.

He does not want to come here.

Also, lets not pigeonhold Rose into being a 'scoring point guard.' He scores, because he has to.

I'm not going to give up on Boozer just yet. It's only been 2 games into the season. I will say that if this Boozer/Noah combo keeps on faltering & don't even play in the waning minutes of the game, I WILL BE 1 UPSET GERMAN! :smoke:

There will be a demand for AC'ing Boozer if he doesn't stay healthy this season and doesn't put up AT LEAST 13.5 ppg & 8 rpg (currently 10.5 ppg & 4.5 rpg).
